Didn't titans have next to no connection to anybody but dwarves ? Everyone can use magic as it is, except the dwarves. Also Lyrium kills you unless you are detached from Fade, that's why dwarves and tranquil could safely mine them. I would be more worried that since Fade is going down to merge back with Thedas, it will mean lyrium now should start being capable of killing in mining even dwarves, let alone tranquil who won't be tranquil that much anymore. Hmm it sort of feels like rehash of Gothic-Risen plot, get rid of and banish gods for their endless fightings and causing wars, and things that gods kept in check start rising up and wrecking everything. Ironically things were Titans there too.

I think the blueish dragon and red dragon side by side are the last two arch demons, Razikale, the Dragon of Mystery, and Lusacan, the Dragon of Night, because you can see all the Grey Wardens there to kill archdemons.

@@elitewolf9157 There are 4 different Dragons in the trailer, the first seems like a regular dragon Taash might hunt, then there are the red and blue ones that look like arch demons, but then there is the massive one that looks bigger than anything we have seen before--the one with the large crown that makes the dread wolf look tiny in comparison. It doesn't appear to be blighted, at least not when it first raises out of those ruins... but who knows what/who it is? Could be one or multiple elven gods transformed together? Something else entirely? It's exciting!

In terms of Harding’s bruise my theory since the gameplay trailer is that it’s a consequence of our actions. It says depending on who we pick between Harding and Neve our actions will impact our companions. Rook in that playthrough chose Harding and at around 19:56 when Rook is on the bridge you can hear Harding scream in pain in the background and see her fall over. I had a theory since then, before photos of bruised Harding, that whoever goes might end up hurt and not be playable for maybe the first mission. Kinda work a bit like Kaiden/Ashely in ME3 but less extreme. Seeing bruised Harding kinda confirmed that theory for me😅 I thought perhaps whoever is chosen gets hurt and will sit out the first mission where we get Bellara since we can only have two companions at a time now, though now I think it’s probably more they’ll be hurt but will still be with us the whole time.

- Im pretty sure Davrin does have his Dalish tattoos still. It just wasnt visible in that scene. - The crown Solas is wearing is his own unique version of it. It even has little wolf ears. - The blue magic around Ghil isnt coming from her. It's coming from the lyrium dagger.

I think that having dwarves with magic is not going to be common, my personal theory is that Harding has that part of her ancestry "activated" because she was at the ritual. I think that Solas crown is similar to Mythal's but not identical, and I personally think it's because they have some sort of deep connection. I agree with the theory that he was a spirit of Wisdom that took physical form because of Mythal and turned into Pride when he was made to fight. Either way it seems to me that Mythal is a parent/guardian figure to him

Same on dwarf magic, but it could also be the fact that the veil is weakened and the fade is seeping through so people who don't normally have the ability to use magic, start to manifest some kind of powers.

The city on fire with the tentacles around a crow-gargoyle is likely Treviso in Antiva. And the dwarven thaig is more likely to be Kal Sharok. On the map that is shipped with the new merch kit it shows Kal Sharok in the west, Treviso we know is the Antivan location we'll visit and there is also an underwater location visible at the far right

I think Mythal's crown is a symbol that they are fulfilling a specific task. Andraste, Morrigan, Flemeth... Also, it should be remembered that each evanuris had its own insignia. The Mythal insignia is a pentagon with elongated upper edges. The symbol of Solas are the radiated peaks that resemble the rays of the sun. I used to think that this symbol belonged to Elgar'nan 😅

I had to pause the video, 4 minutes in to share my thoughts: Since you mentioned the TRANSFORMATION of an elf to a brood mother, I recall fighting that... thing in Origins, that calls on the aid of darkspawn. Now I see a even clearer image of the origins of the darkspawn and how they most likely happened because the first mages that sought out the throne of the Maker. We all SHOULD know the rest of the making of the darkspawn. However, seeing these images and hearing what you're saying about the TRANSFORMATION, and how hauntingly familiar the transformation looks like the image of (whom I will call) the tentacle goddess I believe the the first darkspawn was always a blight created by her and she is one of the reasons that what's in the fade has changed. Also, I remember that one scene at Haven when Liliana was praying and questioning whether she was even being heard by the Maker, since nothing good ever seems to happen to the world and I've always wondered if she IS being heard (like everyone else) but the Maker remains silent because of the elven gods and not because of mans sins. However, the Maker IS silently working as to answer all those prayers and protect the beings he loves. I truly believe that there is so much more to the spiritual side rather than the physical side of what's been happening in Thedas and I (for being one) have only barely opened my eyes from what was learned in the Trespasser DLC.

When you stop at the right moment you can see that the blighted dragon also has a spear in his neck. So there is definetly a connection possible between them and the gods. Also the backround is the same we could see in the overview with the dead dragon in the right corner. Ghil is also skewered like the dragon. In the Trailer you can also see her on the ground, possible dead with a light you want to claim. In the shot with the dreadwolf you see in the left corner from the wolf something that looks like fire. But it has the shape of a body. The elf you can see in the shot of the broodmother is the same that you see fighting against some demon? maybe (can`t remember exactly), with the blue lighting around them. Sry for my bad english, I`m so hyped and love your channel.

AUGH omg, your theory on the elf in those tentacles has me all 😱😱😱. I both love and hate the theory, lol. So thank you!!!! If you listen to when we first see lil' Asaan (who seemed bigger than I was expecting!) it's actually the voice of the male Rook talking about being surprised to see a griffon. We hear Davrin when he speaks the Grey Warden lines. I'm REALLY curious about the little girl, too!!! ((and I LOVE HER HAIR OMG)) I have SO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE DRAGONS. I know people are saying the two at the end are a "double blight" but I dunno, I feel like there's something else going on I just have no idea what. I absolutely agree with you about Ghil and the red lyrium idol, as well as the apparent revelation that the crown we associate with Flemeth is probably something all/most of the Evanuris used. So fascinating. Lucanis: I've seen a lot of theories about his wings and magical aspects. From him being possessed (I really hope not, I feel like it would be a little too much of the same at this point, lol) to one I find very interesting: In DAO, if you take Zevran to Haven and find the blood stained altar he says "I wonder, the Crows often make sacrifices of blood and it gave them uncanny abilities" -- could that be what we're seeing? I dunno! Morrigan: I am very curious to see what, if any, affect the question of who drank from the Well of Sorrows (Morrigan or Ink, if anyone) will have with her story or the Inquisitors. And, of course, what she may or may not have received from Flemeth through the mirror before Solas used her like a charging port, lol. Solas's golden crown, with its very tall edges, I'm confident *has* to be a different one than Mythal's. Morrigan's is similar enough that I could see it being the same one, but the color and structure are off for Solas, which I would assume is a deliberate distinction. Maybe those were crowns all the Evanuris had? Very curious about those. And I love that as divided as the fan base is sometimes, I feel sure we can all agree that Scout Harding is our precious pumpkin and whoever harmed her must pay. 😂 I am cautiously optimistic that I can FINALLY be a dwarf mage to some degree. If Claudia Black can lie, maybe the devs did too! It would be cruel if only Harding could cast.

I see the Eleven Crowns being similar to the rings gifted in LOTR…each God was given a crown to show the power and regality they held, which is why the 2 Ancient Gods have the crowns as well…

Well, let's go chronologically: 1) I think Ghill performing acts of vandalism in Antiva. She is overgrown octopus so sea adjacent city is better fit, and her tendrils lovingly caressing statue of a crow like in Antivan Crows. But final munching fest between Dread Wolf and Elgarnan definitely happening in Minrathos because it's the same architecture. Gosh it looks so messed up. I wonder if it's canon event or just version of world where Rook made all the wrong choices 🤔 2) It's wildly speculated guy stuck in goo and spikes in red forest is Felassan from Masked Empire novel, maybe Solas killed him only in the fade, so he is not dead, but tranquil. Also, reinstatement of Broodmothers in army of monsters would be so epic! They mighty creepy ladies, I'd be glad to meet them again, bet they going to look gorgeous in new gen shaders 😏 3) Regarding red and blue lyrium dragons, they may simply be another of Ghil's monsters, or maybe Elgarnan as Mythal can control dragons too. At first I thought they are shapeshifted Evanuras, but Elgarnan turning into much bigger and cooler dragon in the end, and as you pointed out they are standing next to each other in the shot, so this dragons must be smth else. They could be last standing Archdemons? There's another theory floating around, that Evanuris and dragon gods indeed two separate pantheons of creatures, but dragons were enslaved. Like maybe in the beginning they were Mythal's allies or servants and source of her power, other Evanuris wanted a piece, so they killed Mythal and tried subjugating dragons with blood magic, but it backfired into Blight or smth. I'm not sure I buy this theory, because Solas once said nothing connected his people to old dragon gods of Tevinter, but he also had conversation with Blackwall about nature of Archdemons, when BW asked if they are just pets to greater powers, like Corypheuses dragon to him. Solas dismissed him with chuckle, so I assumed it meant Blackwall was wrong, but maybe he was laughing over different aspect of this idea? Like Corypheus and blighted dragon looked like dollar store knock off version of a real thing to him? Dunno. Something to think about. Also it seams location we meet this dragons and half ruined tower we see Tach and co walking up to is the same place. Red dragon sort of snaps metal rod from his shoulder, probably it's the same bolt Tash holding in that scene. 4) OMG, lyrium idol does look a bit like Ghil! Mythal's crown and Fen'Harel's crown are not the same, they made out of different metals and slightly vary in form, but style is similar, so it's reasonable to assume it is symbol of Evanuris authority and they all had some version of it. Also, it implied in lore Solas and Ghill had some kind of relationship in the past, like he convinced her to keep her monsters for future use, so they were allies, and there are few curious murals in his castles in Tresspaser where Dread Wolf looking shadow tenderly hugging halla coded girl with white long hair. Some believe it may be a proof they were lovers at one point. Maybe old dawg was acting out his patterns with Lavellan? Helping talented girl rise into power, falling in love with her and than taking her limbs as sacrifice for the cause? 😋 If that theory turns out to be true, can you imagine the DRAMA of those reunions? I kinda want it to happen 🤣 5) About Varric. I choose to believe he is ok, la-la-la, can't hear anything 🙉😂 Let me puff that copium 🚬 Yeah! Also, maybe he is cursed or smth. 9) Something tells me killing Evanuris or locking them back in a cage will be one huge McGuffin hunt, and one of them is that blue shiny thing Rook reaching for on Ghil's body. I need to double check a couple of things but the theory about Solas and Ghil might be way bigger. Regarding Lucanis, I think you're right. We are getting a new friendly abomination haha Oh, and kind people here told me that the blue thingy on Ghil's body is actually Solas's dagger. The scene with Rook throwing the broken sword down could be that someone important had died....perhaps one of our old companions, or an important figure in the Grey Wardens perhaps? Given that Davrin is there. I also have a feeling that Mythal is in Morrigan now, using her as a vessel....I wonder if that is a Morrigan who drank from the Well? And if the Inquisitor did, will he/she in be in Morrigan's place? Or how will their role change depending on whether they drank from the well? I am also so so interested in the Dwarfs and the Titans. Clearly the Titans are waking up again, reconnecting with their children. Will that mean that a Dwarf Rook may also gain some abilities due to the Titans? AHHHHHHHHHHHH There is so so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am also so torn about my first romance....Emmrich....Davrin, Lucanis.....Neve......I am also wondering if it will be through Dorian that we may meet Lucanis? I remember an artwork that Bioware brought out years ago now showing people under water, one looked like Crow, and one of the men looked like Dorian....they were seemingly looking for treasure of a sort. Rook running toward Ghilan'nain poses a lot of questions. One that came to my mind is that they might try to save her. Or at least keep her from dying, for whatever reason. Maybe they'll need the Evanuris' power for an even bigger threat. I also wonder if the dwarves will (re)gain the ability to dream, now that it seems the titans have returned. And I really want to see Sandal again! And Zevran! Depending on choices made in Origins, I'd love to see Lucanis' reaction toward Zevran. Though I doubt Zevran will make an appearance. Ah well, he's out there somewhere with my Dalish Warden...

amazing video as always, really amazing you managed to capture so many details! just some small things: 7:50 - the reason we may not see the vallaslin can be because of lighting issue as you said or I could be camera angle or just plain youtube compressing the quality out of it 13:10 - where the cactus? I'm not asking it a mean way or anything, I just see withered trees and something like weeds in the water in the corner. if there are no cacti then it makes sense to have snow. there is also a possibility that that is a mine for something similar to calcium carbonate in our world

Couple of small points. From when you were pointing out the tentacles and "spider egg" textures on the captured elf, i believe its a similar texture featured in the ruined tower scene with Taash and the grey wardens. The moonlight doesnt make it stand out overmuch on the left. I'm assuming synonymous with darkspawn corruption? Secondly, Lucanis' 'magic' and Morrigan's magic are extremely similar colour and texture wise. I would have said the common theme linking them is shapeshifting, but then in the next scene Morrigan is blasting out the purple magic so idk if it connotates a particular type of magic like you suggested or not. Thirdly, what are your thoughts on the scene with the giant skeleton and all the people half-heartedly T-posing before it? It then cuts to a scene of Bellara looking on upset at what was happening. With the lighting it was hard to tell if the T-posing crowd featured a lot of elves or Veil jumpers. Earlier in the trailer we clearly see Emeric interacting with the giant skelebro with the lantern so my initial assumption is 'ah, Emeric's personal or recruitment quest', so the scene with Bellara has me intrigued. I wonder how much interaction and influence other companions may have on each others quests and how many new options could that open up to resolve a quest a particular way depending on the companions we have present with us. It makes me both excited and anxious given we can only drag along 2 companions along with us. Those points aside, thankyou for all your hard work analysing the trailer, it pointed out a few things I didnt take much notice of (like wowzers they went to the effort of animating pendant mechanics on that little npc girl, thats astounding!). And overall it just makes me all that more hyped up and hopeful for DA4 to be an enjoyable game to look forward to (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠)

@@meillyn9059The thought it did cross my mind. The lighting for all three scenes (Manfred/Emmerich/Rook, Big Skele, and Bellara + Rook) are all similar with the white to greenish hue. That said, all three scenes could take place in a similar locale but all be separate scenes, it's just more fun to speculate if they did happen to be sequential, even if that's less likely.

Well, my theory is that, in the end of this game, we'll have an "It was Mythal all allong" moment and, because of that, in the scene with the dreadwolf against the dragon, I think Solas is only trying to buy us time for complete some ritual that will, in the end, restore Mythal, but at the expense of Solas and Elgar'nan, not that they'll die, but rather become powerless or something of that nature. Also think that the theory that says the insult Fen'harel came from the evanuris mocking the fact that Solas couldn't take the form of a dragon is correct.

It would blow my mind if Mythal ended up being the actual antagonist all along, and in true MGS fashion, we have been assisting in the downfall of Thedas by killing off the only ones that could destroy her… For what it is worth, I am SO glad we are assisting Solas rather than hunting him down! The metal "rod" that the Grey Wardens were carrying, it's the same one that the Dragon "chews" away and the same one that one of the Elven gods was "impaled" with... I guess it was a way to try and kill him and then he turned into a dragon, with the help of the other Evanuris? Just speculation.
