I purchased the LG 8100. So far excellent machine. Great deals bc it’s being discontinued

The fabric is completely submerged in the water - awesome, you almost never see that, wow. But if you put in more clothes the water/clothes ratio would change and again I would feel like there wasn't enough water. I learned you can change that yourself and I don't feel uncomfortable to do that, but I have to wonder why with all the feedback that says "more water please" they don't offer that to us in some fashion that wouldn't change the government water regulations imposed on the washers today. The ONLY possible solution I can see is a constant water bath like the 3900 does. There is always a forced water flow going thru the clothes in that machine and the fact that it still uses a low water level source doesn't deprive the clothes of a good solid water supply. I love the "full" tub of water on the Maytag 575, but I can also find not using tons of gallons to be nice too. Why they have to "starve" the front loaders of water and waste so much stationary time I just don't understand. The really OLD front loaders filled to like half the door with water. Now you can't even find the water. A little "sloshing satisfaction" would be nice for a thousand dollar washer. I thing a "slosh satisfaction" rating would be a good guide to introduce to us as a new rating for washers :) thumbs up Eugene, another great video.

I have what I believe is the previous model to this one. On the quick cycle, there's not much of a rinse and when I washed some cleaning cloths on that cycle, there was still suds when it was finished. The other cycles never leave suds.

Wow maybe a gallon in there. They’re getting so miserly a little more water would not hurt!

petermazbabie because it’s empty, it’s not pumping a full tub of water for an empty tub

I just purchased a front loader. Something about the tubs in LG washers I just don't like . They look and have the appearance of tin foil. Of all the major brands Whirlpool/Maytag , Samsung and LG, I think the wash tubs in LG front loaders are the cheapest. Which isn't saying much considering how everything is cheapened today .

A V I see your comment on my inbox but I don't see your comment on the board. Anyway the Whirlpool is a pretty good machine so far. My first front loader and it washes great. Lots of cycles and options and it is closet depth which is nice . These new Whirlpool/Maytag front loader now have a recirculation spray that fans out over the load while washing. These machines needed that but they always had great cleaning scores . The new Whirlpool also have a pull out drawer now on the bottom for the Load-N-Go dispenser as well as a trap you can unscrew and clean out behind the dispenser .

LG is the best quality product out there in my opinion. The wash drum has either a 10 year or Lifetime Warranty on it. Samsung wash baskets have a 3 or 5 year warranty on it. LG is the best option as far as quality and warranty on its products.

Actually, their drums are stainless steel and are not the cheapest, Ravi Peiris M.D.

@@ravipeiris4388 Press on the back wall of an LG washer drum. Lots of flexing with the cheap SS. Even Whirlpool doesn't have as much flex like those do. The drums in Electrolux machines have the sturdiest for mainstream brands. Speed Queen has the best...and so it should for what they charge.

Simone Martini It's actually automatic water level. One thing I really hate though is that D.C. Pump. It sounds so stupid.
@simonemartini30175 жыл бұрын
@Moises Zavala that is dangerous to do and harsh on the motor as it increase the weight. Machine should have custum levels according to the cycles like any European washer, but it's made in China so can't expect a lot

@Moises Zavala I adjusted the water level on mine too and it was well worth it. Never had a problem.
