the toughest part of lops system is the fb, cb and dm - as they are hybrid roles that shift depending on possession there is little point starting fullkrug until we can sustain possession and those playing in the hybrid positions are confident enough to move into position, when they do our forwards will be much closer to fullkrug which is where he can do the most damage

Fulkrug should be given until after Christmas to get up to full match sharpness. Some players take a full season to get accustomed to the PL. tbh it takes as long as it takes.

im pretty sure fullkrug signed a 50k deal he was on around about 90k at bvb which is why we juiced up the fee to cover his 2 remaining years, 20 > 27 euro we did the same thing with awb, 10 - 15m

Cant judge him until Loppy has a system where they're feeding him chances He admitted from the beginning he's not the type of striker that runs the channels. So far we're still setting up the whole of the team. So yes, be patient but it comes down to Loppy setting him up to succeed.

There again, we have had some very good strikers at West Ham that weren't played to their strengths. If you don't play to a player's strength, then ultimately, that is on a manager. When Fullkrug played for Dortmund and Germany, he wasn't about lumping the ball in to him, he liked the ball at his feet. Are we going to waste another strikers talent?

Sorry but for all the reasons he has stated himself...Fullkrug is totally the wrong choice of striker.. it takes time to adapt to the Premier league, it's faster and more physical than any other. The defenders in the Premier league are much faster than other European leagues. It will take time for him to adapt and find his feet, but that "could" take ùp to Christmas...Paqueta took most of his debut season to adapt before we saw the best of him. The point is ... we have ings who doesn't fit and is surplus, we have Antonio who at 34 looks past it and a spent force .....we needed a striker who could come in as our #1 and hit the ground running....Fullkrug is not some 20 year old that we can afford to give a se season to adjust...he is 31and does have a history of injuries, again in Ings and Antonio we don't have great options...27 million for a striker who is 31m has no pace and needs time to adjust...when he is supposed to ge our #1 ?? I'm sorry I think he is a really bad choice, he is totally the wrong type of striker and is going to struggle....in terms of a striker we failed this window

In the summer, yes. But for this season, you trust Antonio and Fulk to do a 90 minute job between them . Antonio for 60, Fulk for 35. Then if you want to reward Fulk for his dedication, you switch it around and start him against lesser sides and give ANtonio the back up role for a gam against lesser opposition. Sit them both down and tell them that we are all aiming in the same direction. That role is both of theirs which at 31 and 33 is testament to both, given we are genuinely o top 7 side in the PL and arguably top 15 on the planet. I think if we are to do something great this season, you need to sit them both down in a room, tell them the role belongs to both of you accross each 90 minutes, and its important that you radiate to the team that the overall objective of the side this season is bigger than any one ego. If both can stay fit, I have no problem with Antonio & Fulk sharing the role over 90 minutes a game, for the greater good of the side. If the team behind them can adapt mid game to the different qualities they will give while on the pitch, it can work. I'd split the role between them two, be honest. With JWP probably demanding a price in the summer, Aguerd also, a bit of chump change for Cornet etc. we should be looking at two things next summer; a Hincapie profile , who is an option both at LB and LCB in one player and most importantly; a tall, young, rapid, athletic goal scoring CF. I already have targets for next summer for the relative next steps. 1. One of Zeze or Oosterwolde, 2. Akor Adams (If Duran's price sky rockets) and 3. And this would be just because I love his profile; Andy Diouf from Lens.

If Lop is doing anything in his spare time away from his coaching it would be to develop his French speaking, slightly. I know he can speak English, Spanish, Portugese and Italian. I know he can speak French as well, but I wonder to what degree. Supposedly, as studies show, If you are bi/tri lingual, you develop new languages much, much quicker, so I think Lop either could already, or certainly have the capabilty very quickly to be a very good speaker of French. Makes Tim's job much easier, bringing talent in from all over the world that the coach can speak to fluently in their home language upon arrival. An incredible set up we have at this club. So proud of how we are operating at the moment. A globalised, intelligent, unique and dedicated approach by everyone involved, making strides toward cracking top 4. How are people going to judge Nicolas when all he’s been able to do is come on for garbage time alongside of players who don’t suit his style. He needs to start stretch of games, alongside our best players before we can cast any judgment on him stop starting Antonio. In fact, I’m not even sure that Antonio is a better option than Ings at the moment. Mic seems to have lost his pace and his muscle. Ings is a better finisher, ipso facto maybe Ings should scoot up a spot in the pecking order g order. Bottom line is player our big German bastard from the start, and let’s find out
