Mmhmm. Scar is my favorite character. Or at least top 3. Arguably he's been on the right side from the beginning even if he was doing it for the wrong reasons. But his evolution is great.

1:48: Winry is actually trying to forgive Scar as a person- because of what her parents stood for, as well as what she now knows was done to him and all of Ishval. However, she makes herself crystal clear, SHE WILL NOT FORGIVE HIS ACTIONS. For Winry, it’s not just that “She won’t let Scar change who she is”, but is also a deliberate, sincere and very challenging change of heart towards Scar, that even makes Ed & Al begin to reconsider how he feels about all of it. That’s why, although you can just view it in a narrow way, with Winry trying to make it about her own morality-- it’s really her contritely trying to show the same love that Scar does deserve, AS A VICTIM, of both the Homunculi and the State Military; all of this despite him not deserving it, based on his actions after becoming a victim. Winry is being more than just the bigger person, she using her disposition to be a healer to a man who needs it. Moreover, Winry does her act of kindness, through forgiveness, to attempt to break the cycle of hate and violence that helps to keeps them all as enemies-- instead of allies against Father and the remaining Homunculi…

I get the idea of making your clan have a stronger position and all but, like, why would you want to give the Xingese Emperor immortality if he'd happily sacrifice his people for it? I don't care how he gets it, that's a dumb idea. And yes the plan for both is to bring it back and give it to the Emperor.

They dont want to make the emperor immortal. Ling and Mei just came to the conclusion that presenting a method for immortality would be sufficient to earn their dying father's favor to succeed him in his place. In the manga, Ling even mentions that he has never even *met* the emperor.

@@SnowyWolborg yes but basic logic dictates that giving him the method would have him use it. Especially with what Mei said this episode. They don't want him to be immortal but their plan is to give him the means to do so. Now at this point Ling might not care too much simply because he now knows how unlikely it is for someone to survive absorbing a stone is but they set out with the idea of bringing either a stone or (if lucky/unlucky depending on how you look at it) the method of making one to the man.

You asked why it's a thing for men to not want to be around their wives. It's because men like to sit around and relax, but that's hard to do with a wife because of all the stuff they're always asking them to do. Fix this, go here, pick up that, ect. Women tend to never run out of things around the house they want done, and it's a real chore to put up with it. Especially since up until the last 50 years it was mostly men that would work all day long, and then come home and be expected to do even more work

It's not nagging to ask a man to pull his weight around the house, especially now that women generally work just as much. These days women are expected to go to work and then come home and do all the housework and childcare too. Women would also love to sit around and relax every now and then.

Women tend to want to improve houses more than men do. This room needs to be painted, we need to hang a shelf here, this needs to move over here to make the room more balanced. The TV isn't in the middle of the wall Most men don't give a crap what color a room is, or to hang shelves up to put useless things on like decorations. They don't care if the sink as dirty dishes in there for a day or two because it really doesn't bother us. Having a wife is like having a second boss. Men just want to come home and relax, and it would be really awesome if the wife would come home from work and just want to relax as well, but they don't, they want to keep doing shit, lol
