Aoi Yūki never lets us down. Re:Zero at this point is a collection of high level VAs. Every character has a big VA with memorable roles. EVERY.ONE. -well except maybe Patrasche- Subaru still being alive so far is hobestly a miracle. In the first Season that beatdown would've done him. Heck, I was pretty sure, once he opened the door, that the Giant Flies were about to one up the Great White Rabbit by giving him the worst death yet. What a wild episode, tho. Even though I enjoy Capella's character and her VA, i have to say, no character has given me so much revulsion so far as her and just in one episode. Not in the same way I despise and loathe Regulus. But in how the whole exchange actually made my stomach churn, and not from disgust cuz of her ability, of the flies, the dragon blood or the violent uncensored aspect of it. But due to how malevolent, warped and cruel she is. All that despite my instincts having called out everything from that trap to the exit. It was still impactfil ninetheless and stomach churning. I'm once again blown away by this Anime

While Capella does bring up that argument. Subararu at their First meeting outside kinda broke it completely. He talked to her and berated her for ruining the image of a dragon for him it was 100% honest something the others demonstrated despite the Dragons having a huge role in royalty they still saw as a monster at first. They were Confused at Subaru and used it as a distraction. His and Crusch attack on the Forced TF of the dragon victim was of the Dragon they knew as the Archbishop so that was more of pure trickery, Hell even the Fly room Subararu didn't show disgust he showed FEAR and turned back to what was the hostage girl after the flies didn't attack instantly. It seems like Subaru is just the ANTI-BISHOP at this point he Rejects all of thier Garbage.
