​@@ALCauGdo not recommend it myself. Translation is 5/10 and changes from volume to volume. WN despite being consistent is mostly translated by machine, 3/10. And Tappei himself is such a graphomaniac, these useless big ass "world building" passages here and there just do not contribute to the story and put you off the rails. Anime is better than the LN so far... much better.

This episode and the previous one are why I love Re:Zero. Subaru has grown and matured. His current confidence isn't a result of his childish bravado, but a genuine understanding in himself and faith in his team. But he's still Subaru- he's still a bit rash and doesn't think of himself enough. He has growing yet to do, but others are acknowledging him for who he is, and he's starting to acknowledge himself too.

Basically, for Reinhart, divine protections are minor buffs for the normal person. Lie detector, understanding of languages, increased speed, etc. Typically you get one, and it's wise to work to your strengths. The big R has all of them though, and a lot of them stack, which makes him cracked. Especially the salt and sugar judgement protection, that's his most powerful one.

I personally interpreted Reinhard’s wishing as receiving blessings when he needs them pretty literally. In this episode’s situation, he probably felt as though he NEEDED to confirm Lilliana’s blessing so he was given a power to do so. The op powers probably don’t come to him cuz he’s already too strong in combat. It’s just the mundane things that he needs help with. If he did come across a situation where teleportation is absolutely necessary, though, he would receive that blessing. Once again just my personal interpretation. It’s still a big grey area as far as I know.

Speedrunning this content was the right call. I'm already more bored with the show than I was with season 2, and that is saying a _lot._ But a large chunk of that formula is the complete absence of good music this time around. Season 1 had a large number of bangers that got my attention. Season 2 had... two. But they were really good, and boy did they get reused a LOT. Season 3 so far has a big fat zero, but I am at least intrigued by the re-introduction of season 1's theme at the end of the last episode. Maybe things are going to change for the better, in all respects.

Is that the remains of the curses the mabeasts have planted on Subaru before being wiped out by Rem and Roswaal? Did the deaths only cancel the feast but not remove the curse? Yeah, it’s the curse from the dog mabeasts from arc 2. Killing then didn’t remove the curses, only stopped them from activating, and those curses couldn’t be removed by Betty because they were too many curses which made it too complicated to remove As for the latter part, we don’t know the specifics of it
