Part 2 where Matt from MT Performance Engines gets the 4age head ready to bolt onto the fully forged 7age bottom end (very informative). Big cams, port work, oversized valves and much more.

You’re blessed to have a guy like this down under. I don’t think an engine builder this knowledgeable about 4A’s exists in the states.

Also are these 1.0mm or 1.5mm for the intake super tech valves. The site says 1.5 only

I have a 1988 MR2 with a 4agze, and I was thinking about building a 7age with the stock supercharger. What are your thoughts on that build idea?

@@NEVER-LIFT OK, Only mentioned it because the people building my engine hadn't thought of it until I mentioned it too them after speaking with 4age expert

Shouldn’t hit but with a custom engine you never know for sure until you check, hope you’re build goes well 👍

Factory valve Toyota build it solid for durability....and reliability...
@NEVER-LIFT3 жыл бұрын
Toyota 4age valves are two pieces friction welded from factory mine are machined from one piece so I’d argue mine are more durable and reliable

Make some power 130kw for a 7age,,,
@NEVER-LIFT3 жыл бұрын
We will, larger exhaust will help How do you suggest we make more power?
@suronsoon89133 жыл бұрын
I think do a true top dead centre, timing, and the cam timing need a little more adjusting, cause by looking at compression while you test is under 250 psi only. Between 2 and 5 degree timing is also important... by the look Matt doesn’t use the degree wheel, and a dial gauge to measure the cam duration,,,he guessing,,,so therefore need to find that sweet spot,,,so to save time use a degree wheel and a dial gauge so you can pin point for quick reference....that my opinion....I sponsored garage 4age channel.by buying his t shirt.... ,
