Yeah man nothing like being out there with your kids love doing stuff like this with my kids that catfish you caught was a hardhead catfish not good eating pretty good for crab bait do.

Hey Tony. Great video as usual. Good to see your son out with you. I think you shorted yourself on that crab you caught at 11:45 in the video. One point was on 4 1/8 and the other on 12. That's 7 7/8, " My guy"😊 not 6 1/2. Maybe my perception or angle of view is off. Either way I see over 7 inch crab. Love you. Keep the videos coming❤

What is the theory with having the floats at the line connection to the trap?

I was asking about that also. Did research and found out it keeps the line out of trap. When you pull up you don't flip any crabs out that may be sitting on the line resting in the trap

I’m impatient too. Drop it and end up checking a minute later 😂. Do you still use the collapsible box traps? I hated that the crabs were walking out my ring traps so I got some to try. 😅

Actually I have 2 of the square ones....just gotta put 1 together. Those are rare around here. Pyramid traps are available though.

Hell yeah, I can’t wait for you to get a small boat or a pedal kayak. Then you can lay your traps spread out and will catch way more crabs. Keep up the catching, and I’m counting down the days until my first trip of the season

YESSIR back at it again I see. Nothing more stress relieving than being out on the water catching those BLUES! I'm itching to get to the marshes down at the coast to do some fishing myself soon. I love throwing my crab nets out and cast net to catch enough crabs and shrimp to cook up. You ever tried taking a small 5" crab, chuncking it down and throwing it out on your fishing rod on a size 2/0 hook? Just throw it out sit back enjoy your crabbing and maybe even catch a nice Red. Keep doing your thing! I've never fished the Jacksonville area but next time I'm down in Florida I'm going to have to give it a go.
