I hope there will be a comic on the Guavian Death Gang and the criminal underworld overall - I really like Marvel’s canonical series so far, but I really miss the concept of experiencing stories from the perspectives of entirely new characters, as was the case back in Legends. So far, the new comics seem to really just focus on pre-established legacy characters, with the exception of Dr. Aphra, though even she originally debuted as a side character in the first run of Vader... The possibilities are endless and it would be a great medium to explore those stories.

Fun fact: their helmets were designed for "the Jedi killer" originally. But eventually was scrapped in favor for the helmet worn by Kylo in TFA.

Karen Travis went into the “child soldiers” issues quite a bit in the republic commando series. Especially with Darman in the first book trying to process the situation they are put into, if you are going to do a vid on this, I’d recommend a reread of those books:)

It doesn't really make it more interesting. It just gives a good excuse for Boba to go out like a chump in Ep 6 after being hyped up for decades. He's nothing more than a thug wearing stolen attire, so an undignified ending suits him. Probably what George Lucas intended. Those types don't typically get a happily ever after or glorified death.

Hey Alex, perhaps an interesting question for your Q&A: Is there a thing like time zones in Star Wars which can be compared with the ones we have on Earth? It looks really odd to me that it's the same time on all the planets the Star Wars universe has.

I mean this has always been my headcanon smooshed together with what we have from Star Wars Legends... but I always figured the time and dates we see are based on Coruuscant Time or something. Its like how news reports sometimes publish the time of an event in Greenwich Mean Time and not local time. So yes, there is likely a system of local calendar's and times across the galaxy... but we keep track of it as an audience via the official 'central time' and not via each local system's unique clock.

Okay, here’s a fact that I found that’s not in this video (although I found it through Wookieepedia, so technically I’m cheating). Thanks to this book, we now know the technical name and manufacturer of the police gunship used by both the Republic and Empire (and seen in both The Clone Wars and Rebels). It’s known as the LAAT/le gunship, manufactured by Santhe/Rothana Heavy Engineering. As you can tell from its name, it comes from the same line of ships as the LAAT/i and LAAT/c also used by both governments.

@@GVZNABRUTO Dash isn't involved in the stealing of Death Star 1 plans. You must be thinking of Kyle Katarn. In Legends there were dozens of stories of people stealing the DS1 plans, including Katarn. It was later retconed that they were all just stealing fragments of the plans under Operation Skyhook. It was so messy continuity wise that they had to make them all the same operation in some way. Legends is full of this stuff.

I mean, Allen isn't exactly wrong. The Clones were treated as commodities sold to the Republic and given no other path in life than being a soldier. It's just as bad as the Spartan IIs from Halo.

@@armorfrogentertainment I think there was one Spartan that retired in Halo but I just can't see any of the other II's retiring or living outside the military, as for the clones, that's why I loved the Republic Commando series, it gave them some future in the galaxy where they could live outside of the GAR or the Stormtrooper Legions. They could be adopted into the Mandalorian culture (which is fitting being that they were raised by alot of Mandos) and they were looking for a way to stop the accelerated aging
