When you use the Db, use it as a deceptive modulation by treating it as a dominant substitution to C7. P.s. near the end, pushing the changes a 16th early works really well.👍

Great videos. Excellent way to learn playing with gooves. Some of your groove videos are for more advanced players. Could you please create groove videos for beginners to learn chords, inversions, practice routine, etc. Thanks ❤❤

These vids are fantastic but some written examples of the longer licks esp outside licks would be amazing. Thanks anyway 👍

Cheers for that - I'm still developing my skills for outside lines and found it challenging to craft an example phrase through the notation...however I stumbled across this gem the other day: Long drawn out tasty outside playing with sheet music notating it as he plays - pretty special! kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3jZoJadfL2Wd9Usi=URZBWUo7etGoFf59 Thanks for the feedback I'll aim to notate some longer lines in future videos :)

Hey thanks for the response and the video, I’ll watch more of his for sure. Your vid is my favourite of the year, I’m painstakingly transcribing your licks thanks to the slow down function. Keep up the good work👍😎

Hello to u Incidentally I love your teaching style. I am an intermediate player and have been playing for many years. But I didn't realize how much I was missing until I came across ur channel. So thank you for your musical expertise. Although I do most of my practicing on my baby grand. However I just purchased the Keyscape piano software. And as a result, I am looking for some background tracks to assist me.Thus, can u be so kind to tell me what the name of your background tracks are so that I can purchase some thing similar to it. Thank u for ur time. Jazz

Cheers for feedback, the intention was to have the keyboard lower in the mix so you can hear the ideas, but having the beat up so you can jam along and create your own ideas - but I can hear it is a bit overpowering! Will keep tweaking the mix :)
