When a coach casually mentions rules from 5 different wrestling styles you know he knows his sh*t.

What's great about this coach is that he understands all three grappling styles: wrestling, judo, and jiujitsu. I also know all three!

Great video, I agree sometimes you got to be funky. My daughter is a two-time state champion soon going for number three she does a lot of crazy s***makes our coaches go crazy. She's been doing Jiu-Jitsu since age of 5 I've seen her role to her bag many times to get on top. Senior end up on her butt and sweet people. Love funky style wrestling.

I am confused. Is it legal to do the scissors takedown variant in ibjjf or grappling industries rules?
@TeachMeGrappling2 жыл бұрын
Yes it should be. Using your hand to grab the leg would make it like a knee/ankle pick. It would be very hard to see it as a kani basami.

20 years of grappling, and I find that this is getting more complicated, is that normal and common ?
