Same. I learn a lot from my boyfriend. Practically know how to build a house at this point (he's a contractor/mechanic). The only issue is that he doesn't learn as much from me as I do from him. He'll read huge car manuals and building plans that are thicker than some textbooks I own, but if I hand him a book - and it's usually a book on something that we're both interested in, or a fiction novel that we've seen the cancelled television show or movie of - and it's over 250 pages, he looks at me with fear in his eyes.

This man is proof that one can make critical jokes about women in relationships without being sexist. I'm a HUGE fan of his joke about dating clever people. What having to be sensitive about sexism means is that comics have to actually be perceptive about the actual nuanced things that often get annoying in opposite gendered relationships, rather than relying on stereotypes caricatures, tired assumptions or cheap shot targeting. Clever people of both sexes, the comic here, even about other women and I love it. He is smart and not clever. And he is aptly funny.
@alisabellesimone89244 жыл бұрын
@MaxDeveloper There is nothing wrong with what she said. She is saying she enjoys his comedy because it’s healthy and not toxic for both men and women. Notice how at the bottom she says “clever people of both sexes”. Also yes toxicity is a problem in comedy now days always talking about sex and how men cheat and women are crazy it’s stupid and needs to end. Your ignorance and arrogance really show up in your comment. Don’t get me wrong I’m tired of those “feminists” we see a lot nowadays but this comment was not of that nature. What once was a good thing turned into a terrible thing. People seem to forget feminism used to be about women and men being able to work together on equal ground, not the whole hate and kill all men and women are superior mindsets. Honestly, women are doing great and being very empowered in the world of business and engineering now so don’t see the reason to fight over this anymore. :/

But, it's not just me grieving. It's my grandparents first grandson, cousin's brother, siblings loved one, my youngest cousin doesn't know him, he made his younger cousins, mere children, sob because he died, my brother as a memorial set up in his room for him, my aunt and uncle don't have a son anymore, my parents are suddenly aware of my siblings and my mortality.
