This works on two different levels, too. For the uninitiated with the game, "I think they're starting to get suspicious" is just a hilarious, smart-ass line. But for D&D players, that's spot-on, because sometimes a character's perception might truly be *that* low to where even the most obvious concentration loss isn't guaranteed to tip them off.
