So excited to see someone else with the Canadel chairs I have the sames one except where you sit I have the grayish brown. I stumbled upon this video because I love my granite on the table top gray pink black and white granite but the legs of the table is a 80's pine color now I know I will paint them white after seeing you table the white base goes perfect with the chairs now I know how mines will look. I was going to do white or just stain the legs a darker color originally. Your video helped a hard decision lol thanks!

I just used this same Varathane stain and it turned out looking so blue that I didn’t think it matched the black apron and legs. I was aiming for a white washed look. I was thinking of going over it with watered down white paint like you did here but I didn’t think I could put water based paint over the oil based stain. I know this is an old video. Hoping you’ll see this as I have struggled with what to do about this blue.

I ended up keeping the chairs and selling the table on its own. I put the table up for $250 and sold it for $200. I find it’s a little trickier to sell the table without the chairs.

@@FlipItFurniture Thanks for the info. I have a table/chair set almost finished. First set I’ve done in a long time because I don’t like painting chair spindles. I needed a change from dressers and nightstands though. I luckily found a set that didn’t have spindles, so it was pretty easy.
