After required Halloween complete with a blue moon I finally settled down this Sunday afternoon to listen to concert 25 and thoroughly enjoyed the sound of Jack’s bass and Jorma’s speedskating stories and excellent guitar playing. Kudos to Larry Campbell’s violin and guitar contributions for a thoroughly enjoyable Sunday afternoon 😎 - update on Monday After watching this concert twice and listening to Larry and reading about the missing Theresa I decided to hunt down any iTunes offerings and purchased both of their albums and one of excellent guitar playing by Larry I am so thrilled I have discovered him. Nothing aside from the wonderment Of your Jorma and Jack a.k.a. Hot Tuna Was so stoked I bought a hot tuna blanket and a couple of stickers from the store. Thank you Vanessa and the furpeace ranch squad for these wonderful concerts😊❤️🦋

I believe its his own recent design and collaboration with a luthier. I believe the goal was something he could play along with someone on an acoustic guitar and not feel like he had to plug in. Granted both are plugged in here but in the bigger picture.

i think that like many playful moments in front of a camera it doesn't mean anything more than what it is: a gesture, a dance move, a way to pose that is funny and mysterious in a casual and mundane sort of way. thats what playful is. funny faces make interesting photos. for most of my childhood this gesture meant OK. agreement, affirmation. doing it in front of your eye was a funny way to say "i see you". i think its just a young rock star goofing around for a photographer. it's more visual than literal. playing with the moment in time. as usual, the fascists ruin everything.
