@Robert Accorsini Believe that is because Jack plays an electric bass when Justin is drumming, and an acoustic bass when he is not. Can't play his thunder on an acoustic bass. I agree and much prefer to hear him play an electric bass where his skill is much more obvious! Jack played extremely well this show!

There was a deep connection between Steve Miller and Les Paul: Steve Miller's parents were maid of honor and best man when Les Paul married Mary Ford. We saw Les Paul years ago in a small basement club in NY where he did a weekly show. Steve Miller was there and sat in on a few standards. That's when Les told that story ( he told great stories as much as great guitar ).

Great concert, as usual. Thanks. However, tonight the microphone balance wasn't good. Between songs, I could barely hear Jorma talking at the mike, and Vanessa's mike was even lower. I had to crank up my volume control to about 11 to hear them. But during the songs, that level wanted to blast apart my speakers, so I had to turn it down to about 5. Sorry to nit-pick, but this was annoying, and it hasn't happened before tonight (I've listened to every one of these!).
