See the key to most of this isn't the Furry part, so much as the trend of so many of these profiles being aged 13-15. Seems like a lot of the cringe is just from awkward as hell teenagers, the furry fandom to them is just another fandom identity to cling to while being hormonal and awkward as any teen is. Happy John Just saying, Kejutsu is different from Kendo in that Kenjutsu is actually the art practiced by Japanese swordsmen whereas Kendo is a modernized equivalent. Many Japanese martial arts underwent extensive changes in philosophy after the Meiji era (I think, not really that well educated on Japanese history). The change is seen in the suffix, Jutsu or Do. Do means way, Jutsu means method. Method of fighting vs way of living. EDIT: Kenjutsu is actually an umbrella term for all (or most) Japanese sword arts predating the Meiji era.

2:33 I know this guy in person, knew him ever since I was 10 years old. Over the years, he got into the furry fandom after I moved far away. I wasn't too surprised, he was OBSESSED with Sonic when we were kids. He often talked to me and my brother about pairing Amy Rose with people of other canons, among other stuff, but we were never interested. While me and my family were gone, he began degenerating into a classic cringey furry, and me and my brother almost shit ourselves when we saw him in this video. Seriously, WHAT are the chances? However, you all are probably looking for an update on how he's doing right now. To my knowledge, he's stopped being so cringey, and has begun posting Let's Play videos on his new youtube channel, and only really uses his furry character as a mascot/icon for his channel occasionally. He has a job, and is considering joining the military. I'm glad he didn't stay like this, I honestly have no idea what he was thinking making that post. I guess we all have a period of cringe in our lives. I miss him though, we used to play a lot of nostalgic games together.
