They were saying use of "silence, brand" was abusive. That it was putting down their years of training and expertise. That the brand's voice was their voice. That they felt silenced. That it was robbing other users of joy etc. Totally batshit. But a good 75% of that room was nodding like someone was relating their horrific experience escaping the killing fields.

I still like the KFC ones. They tend to go beyond just a cliche shitpost on twitter and actually put some substance behind the dumb stunts. The "console" was a functional gaming PC and the dating sim is an actual game. Wendy's also did that tabletop game promotion which isn't the most mainstream way to spend their money on advertising but still went beyond just an ad. I think Nerds is doing something similar now.
