Gorgeous. Thanks for your time filming. Your niece's hat is perfection and your spinning of the wool for your nephew's sweater is beautiful.

So great to come along on your snowy adventure. Such yankee ingenuity using good old Burt's Bees lip balm to save the day. And over course it's a treat to see you and Rob in all those woolly knits, keeping warm and looking fine:)

So glad I could "come along" via your beautiful video (even if I couldn't in real life). Your handspun is stunning. And that little peep of sweet Ruby at the end melted my heart.

I feel a bit embarrassed to admit that I would be afraid of being alone in the woods for such a long journey. It must be such a wonderful, freeing feeling. Always enjoy the bit of respite your vlogs provide.

I admit I had my own little panic, but yes in the end a wonderful, "I did it" feeling was worth it. Thank you for tuning in!

Thank you for this! Such a beautiful episode! (As always 😉) Nice to hop on the back of the sled & ride along with you! The love and the care that are poured into these garments - well, there’s no comment necessary, just pleasure, delight and admiration. A big hug from the Yukon! 🌲✨

Wow. What a great video. Nothing like I’ve ever experienced. I could count on one hand the times I’ve seen snow. I’m from Australia and none where I love. It’s a three to four hour drive. I do love your part of the world. The pics are wonderful

I so deeply enjoy your videos. We enjoy the same hobbies but a chronic illness means I can't do a few anymore and I love watching you do them instead :) You were very brave in the slush - I would have panicked!

The slush was disconcerting...it helped to know the lake was super shallow there ;) thank you for your kind words and for tuning in!

Wow, Sarah - I have admired your creativity, your gentle spirit, your multi-craftuality - buy this is over the top - holy smokes! What adventures you guys have! I live in southern ME, and I just loved getting a real view of the off-road woods and lakes of northern ME. And to think that you had the energy to sit down and knit after that journey!!

Dear Donna, your words are so kind, thank you.

Hi Donna, I somehow lost the comment regarding the Felt Work video, I don't believe there was a resource list for that vlog. Is there a specific material you are searching for? I might be able to help.

@@FiberTrek Sarah - thanks for checking back - to be honest, Ive forgotten my own question at this point, but as I looked back at it, I am wondering where you find such nice wool felt for your ornaments. They are so lovely. I recently got back to doing some embroidery, and relearning that craft. - I had really only done crewel in the past. I like to work in a lot of different mediums too.

That was a wonderful way to share northern Maine with us. I could almost smell the pines. My favorite scene was you knitting by the fireside. Did you knit the socks drying on the mantelpiece clothesline?
@FiberTrek2 жыл бұрын
I did not knit those socks, I have only knit a few pairs in my knitting life, but perhaps I should venture back in to it. I am such a sweater knitter it never occurs to me to knit socks!
