Due to the amount of large scale projects we have underway, I have decided to sell both Stolly's to a chap called Ben.
Ben plans to restore them both back to their former glory, follow the restoration on his KZbin channel ‪@BenoCam‬
My team and I saved these vehicles from the scrap man and we had a lot of fun along the way. That said, we have plenty of exciting things to come.

Just the sound of that brings back memories of serving in Germany in the late 79s early 80s, sadly not driving them. My worse memory of them was loading them during a “Active Edge” call out (rehearsal for actions to be carried out if the Russians kicked off). If you were volunteered ☹️ for the fuel party you’d be driven to the huge bulk fuel dump where you’d spend the next few hours loading these things by hand with hundreds of Jerry cans, by the time you’d loaded them & driven out to your holding area if you were lucky the exercise would have ended, if not you’d unload them & camouflage the bloody things, you’d drag your heels on this because you know the exercise will end soon, when Endex was called, we load them back up, drive back to the dump & reverse the motion, no need for pumping irin in the gym after that day!! It was a blessing that near the end of tour many of them were fitted with bulk fuel pods, we were so chuffed & it made in the field replen so much easier!! Good work guys.

Cessna 152 Slowly pull the primer knob all the way out, and allow the primer to fill with fuel drawn from the fuel sump. Slowly push the primer knob all the way in to force fuel through small fuel lines and special nozzles that create a fine mist as it is injected directly into the engine cylinders or induction manifold. Stolly, a little more complex to prime.

Little trick we found on Dodge 100 Commando trucks (UK) was to fill the clutch resi up, undo the bleed nipple and go and have a cuppa. The trapped air bubbles would sort em selves out. A lot more successful than trying to whip up a froth by pedal stomping or an Eezibleed.

Good tool and I last used one about 25 years ago, I have a couple of old weed killer sprayers that are hand pump, works a treat and you don't have to keep getting the compressor on to fill the tyres back up. I have the Ally brakes and pressure lid on my 101 and it works a treat.

Happy days! - I remember going round farms getting telescopic loaders, and tractors running when the diesel had turned to jelly. - Metal isn't fun to be around when it's cool. Didn't Adam deserve a biscuit? He'd work better with one, or even two. I hope the new owner of the Stallys has time, patience, and likes repairing, or adding metalwork. The runners appears to be basically a good machine. 👍😃👍

That 'reverse bleed' with an oil can is how we used to bleed Scania clutches after a clutch change as they have concentric slave cylinders. Just had to tilt the cab a bit so the master cylinder can overflow into a rubbish bin! But what a babe of a truck! Totally abused, left standing and then still fired up and ran. And what a sound they make. And how kind to send that adjustable with the fuel pump.

Adam reminds of the bloke at unit, no f*cks to give, but is good at what he does, so no one really cared. Nothing ever goes wrong for him, where as for you, it ends up with you stood in front of the OC, or a hefty crate fine and a major cover up. You wish you were him, but he’s still a lance jack, even after his Class One 😂. Thanks for the update, love your content, tally ho, and all that jazz.

You need a much longer CLEAR hose so you can put a loop in the hose and be able to see any air bubbles in the hose. I used this same idea starting in the mid 70’s when working at a Kawasaki shop. It’s basically impossible to bleed the the front disc brakes using the old fashioned way of pump and hold.
