Will the registration process and the registration certification be a government led initiative or private led initiative and who will take responsibility of owning & managing the database. We also need to seriously look into nurturing these talented freelancers who have come this far & earning 2 Billion dollars a year foreign exchange for the country without much policy support. Let’s stabilise this very potential growth sector by doing the following for the Freelancers: 1) Committing to take no registration fees for the next 10 years from them. 2) Committing to take no Income taxes for the next 10 years from them. 3) Immediately making a 10 year plan for training these talent through skill enhancement in the high growth areas of ICT and their current work. 4) 10 years Strategic, operational & implementation plan. Let’s nurture these national assets and make them skill full and financially very strong so that they can do world class work & build world class companies and make themselves and country proud.
