I remember the Red X deception, it was part of a misdirection, which blurred the perception of it's inception. It didn't receive proper reception, because of the misconception. Nightwing's introspection almost led to a disconnection, but eventually brought about an insurrection. Upon further inspection, it may have been a deflection from deeper reflection and a reliance on his predilection.

In Teen Titans I always assumed he was Jason Todd bc Beast Boy pulls up a chart of possible candidates with Jasons next to a classic looking Robin. HOWEVER, as I grew older I realized Red X is taller than Dick Graysons Robin which in this cartoon show means he’s older than Robin.
