Yer I use 39 grain wildman slugs and 34 grain and the jsb knockouts 33.49 shoot well to mate

@@fxking.25 what sort of velocitys are you running them all at ? I found that at 50 yards the jsb mk2s groups wasnt nothing special but at 100 yards they were very good

I'm running the jsb mk2 pellets at around 920 and the slugs around 970 I sight in at 50 yards and r spot on and at 100 the slugs gave a good group

Just thinking last night I wonder when paul’s releasing his next video, well you have made my day, mate , for a completed gun your shooting is on the nail , well it just shows you about the mag end what the problem really was Well I was right your radical markings is what I thought you had , it’s the C radical what i call the less busy Iv also only noticed the numbers are back to front in the scope I need to check other scope videos Anyway take it easy next video should be very interesting 👍

Great video. I use 700mm sup HVY & I shoot upto 10 different projectiles, slugs & pellets on the same tune, don't touch anything. Not even the PW or scope. I change strelok Pro to match my projectile, load mag & shoot. Pretty awesome. Sub moa 100yds no issues. Some sub moa at 150yds . 25cal Impact MK2 V2 standard with DTP

Please explain more on the probe/magazine issue I'm having problems with my magazine they sent me a new one but it's doing the same thing.. Im having a problem with the magazine loading the next pellet

Ok mate , check the probe is tight ,if there is a wobble then ensure the small grub screw ( 2.5mm i think) is tight as this was what was causing me problems and so far i have not had anymore problems

Can you explain how its possible for the MK to push a 38G slug 21fps faster than a 34G pellet? I had posted to a group a couple weeks ago asking it it makes sense that a pellet vs a slug of the same weight would produce approximately the same FPS given the same setting or if I was missing something. Everyone confirmed the assumption but you seem to have data suggesting otherwise, wondering if you can give an explanation? Also curious how you have the rest of your gun setup? (barrel length --600?, single vs dual port, liners, shrouds, power kit, or anything else that may have an impact)

Hi seth, very sorry that i didnt see your comment , for some reason youtube doesnt always notify me when i get a comment! anyway, now to answer your questions , so the reason why my M3 is pushing a 38g slug faster than a 34g pellet is simply because of the power setting( Macro) i am on for this specific tune, so with the 38g slugs my Macro is set to 16 and thats giving me the 980fps ( if i remember correctly)and with the 34g pellets i am shooting them on power setting 10, obviously if i was to stay on power 16 then my pellets would be over 1000fps which is way to fast. As for my set up, its all standard to what comes with the M3 so duel ports ( slug port on this tune),a 700mm standard superior liner, no slug power kit as the M3 doesnt need one because it already has the extra spacers installed, only things that are not stock items are the carbon fibre shroud and a Ergo grip pistol grip fitted, hope this helps mate.

With the setting you have watched me shoot in this video i am getting two magazines ( 28 shots per mag)with the king heavy mk2s and with the heavy slugs im getting 40 shots per fill, obviously if you want to have a increased shot count you can lower the regulator pressures and have a lower velocity tune with lighter pellets

No real problems i can complain about except that the plenum doesnt fill on every shot so it might have to go back if it doesnt sort itself out , otherwise its a great gun

Alright sam , havent really got round to doing a proper shot count test yet with that tune as i only got the rifle set up with that specific tune the day before the video and i havent been out with it since , FX say that the .25 M3 with power plenum and 580cc bottle is giving a shot count of 110 shots at 900fps with a 25.39g pellet so me using 34.95g at 960fps will be different , i think i will get that done and put that info in the next video

@@PaulHamM3 yeh my .22 is set different to standard specs. I’m shouting 25 grain slugs at 970 and getting roughly 70 shots but I haven’t done a proper test either. I’ve only done a quick tune but been taking out some 100 plus yard crows and rooks, try the zan slugs. Good price well made soft lead and accurate. Plus a lot of thought went into the packaging, you will see what I mean when you get some 😜

@@samsawyer2145 i have tried the zans but not had much success with them on my M3 but again i havent really tried to get into the meat and potatoes of tuning them yet but i will ! The 33g zans work really good in my Daystate Redwolf .25 even at the slower velocity of 840fps that the rifle gives. Oh and well done with the long shots my friend, having a rifle that is powerful AND accurate is a great confidence booster when the more tricky long shots present themselves

@@PaulHamM3 yeh some just work no messing at all others are a bit fussy and some don’t work at all, it’s all good fun just not enough time to test it all! Any luck with hybrids? Mine loves them at about 1010 FPS. I’m still using the standard superior liner the heavy wasn’t as good with any of the slugs, but never got real deep in to testing either

@@samsawyer2145 mate i have experienced the same thing ! My SUP liner shoots heavy slugs sub-moa at 100 yards so i dont see the point in the SUP heavy liner ?? I will test it to see how it performs though,as for fx hybrids i havent really tried them as i prefer heavier slugs with higher B.C

Hi Paul I’ve just got my FAC ticket we’d looking at the M3 only problem I was all set on .25 then I saw a video on KZbin ( upnorth Air gunner he’s using a .22 pushing 950FPS And 80 FT LB now not sure as definitely a lot more choice of ammo in .22 I want to shoot pellets and slugs Small game and long range target. Are you happy with .25 I know you can change barrels but after spending 2 k I won’t b doing that for a while any advice much appreciated. Looking forward to next video. Thank you..

Hi simon , there is now plenty of choice with .25 ammo now, more than there has ever been but based on on my experiences with the .25 Redwolf and now the .25 M3 i will say .25 everytime ( in high power),but the choice is yours . In .25 i can easily get a 38g prohunter slug or a 39g wildman at 970-980fps ( 80ftlbs) or step it down for 33.95g pellets at 880-900fps for long distance target work,but saying that i currently am using 960fps with 33.95g king heavy mk2s and they have been very accurate. End of the day both calibers have alot to offer.

@@simoncoher4841 yes if you lower the fist and second reg pressures down you will easily be able to get a low power tune , its all about experimenting and putting in the trigger time mate

Also try 33.95 MK1s, they are better than MK2s as higher BC, will easily one hole at 100

I went .25 based on my experiences using a .25 Redwolf, i believe that .25 gives me everything i need in terms of accuracy,power and ballistic co-efficient , i would like to see how other calibers perform though..

@@Rare1967 .25 everytime in my book jason but the decision is yours. A few years ago .25 just didnt have alot of slugs about and i would of said .22 based on there more widspread availibility , but now there is plenty of manufacturers making stuff in .25

Air rifles rated over 12ftlbs of muzzle energy need to be on a firearms certificate,issued by the police. As long as you have permission from the land owner and have provided a good reason for needing one ( pest control etc) you can shoot a high power air rifle.

@@recklessjunkie we have always had the option to use high power firearms rated airguns in the uk but alot of shooters didnt bother to use them because they would just use a .22 rimfire or a .17 hmr, now with the advent of slugs things have become very different, accuracy and shot to shot consistancy is alot better and with guns like the fx impact things are definatly better!

Definatly so james, the concept behind the Delta wolf is great but i couldnt accept a rifle that kept breaking down and wouldnt shoot slugs very well , the M3 is a great rifle that can be tuned so very quickly

Just make sure you write down your rifles factory settings mate reg pressures , macro anx micro and valve , then you can enjoy playing about with a tune OR just leave the damn thing as it comes and enjoy the pellets lol

@@PaulHamM3 ya already done and not touching my reg ive pushed the hades and hybrids to 1028 macro on 16 micro on 5 first reg on 130barish and second on 110barish obviously the pellets i slowem way down but just wanted to see what it could do stock not touching regs next i wanna try nsa to see if it will like any of those ive got some here but i gotta wait for them to move their shop i should be placing a order in 2 weeks

39gr Wildmans I would use around 910fos, sub 1" 150yds. But try Zan slugs 33gr, at around 950, I smash bunnies in the head over 200yds with ease. Sub ½" no problem at 100

@@PaulHamM3 I run all my projectiles on my 33.95 pellet tune. Which is 109reg, PW MAX, VL3, HS nearly maxed, 965fps, They are zeroed at 63yds as are the Zan 33 (974fps) Wildman 39, 910fps, zero 50yds. Knockouts 940fps, zero 66yds & so on. I don't alter the scope either, I just use the distance they zero at with the pellet tune, which then all the data gets added to strelok. It's just incredible. It also means I never run out of ammo as I can chose so many different types. Under 150yds Wildman 39 are good, but when I'm on the rabbits I use Zan 33 as they are jaw dropping accurate.

@@PaulHamM3 I'm surprised at that, have FX changed the mag in the M3 ?? As a thought your pellet probe/ probe holder isn't a bit loose is it? As that can cause issues with loading some ammo

I wouldn’t waste your time with the Wildman’s, they are utter tosh. Poor accuracy, inconsistent weights and dimensions, full of swarf, you have tongues them every time you go out, not to mention that they are probably the most expensive slug out there. Expensive rubbish buddy. Enjoyed the video though, keep them coming 👍
