I never watched SOA, mostly because my kids were all young so we avoided sensational dramas. My Uncles were in clubs and I grew witnessing the nuance that I didn't think Hollywood could get right even though I knew some of the consultants on the series. But that's not to say I don't recognize club style bikes which were the riders in clubs building high speed functional yet fashionable sport touring Harleys. And my flannels are all brand named "I don't remember where I got that but I oughta replace it but I won't. " Maybe I should circle back around on this one!

She still needs a few more upgrades...but she's not too far off from the complete build I'm looking for. She may not have the performance of these newer bikes...but she Rips for the type of riding I do. In another 5-7 yrs...when I'm closing in on that 50 mark & my daughter is old enough to ride...then I'll be looking into some thing like the Road King Special, but with all the Dyna Bro upgrades...of course.

That's a good question man - I know most companies who sell a one piece bar, usually it maxes out at around 15'' - I'm sure if you did the right combination of a bar/riser you could push it passed that

But I bought a chromed out XL883C before SOA & the 'gram existed? I knew IRL 1%ers since I was a kid. My 2nd was a chromed out XL1200C, I spent 4 years on XLs. I already knew what the different HD frames & engines were called too. My Dyna (fav style) was the pre-2014 chromed out Fat Bob. I wear boots, cheap shirts, & I never wear shorts when I ride. I traded in my Dyna (for $1K more than I paid for it) for a 107M8 Road King because of my bad back, performance was a secondary concern to comfort. Maybe I was never a Dyna Bro at all & instead I was always just a Bagger Daddy waiting to happen?

This is 100% accurate. I miss my 03 wide glide and 08 Fatbob. Those were more simple days. Moved on to the bagger bro life with a 18 Street Glide Special, missed the feel of the Dyna so I tried the 20 LRS, then I missed the hard bags so I got a 22 RGST. Im familiar with DYNA BRODEM, through youtube but at 43 getting my first HD a FXDWG in 2021 I was not in anyway aspiring to FULL DYNA BRODEM. No Simpson but I do rock an illegal no padding 1/2 shell. No name bran flannel but if the weather is right I have one. I like my Red Vans with bubble gum soles and Red Fly gloves which my wife makes fun of both. Fcuk, man! Believe it or not, but after my mom never let me do the riding license when I was teenager, I’ve grown up and saw S.O.A. And then, I reminded myself, this is exactly what I wanted all my effing life. And my journey started right away. Maybe I’m not dyna bro, because I started with different bike, but I’m a proud owner of beautiful FLHRXS in beautiful and the only proper color (at least imo), you guessed it, black. Slightly modified to sound better, I mean louder. Oh yeah! 😁 I’m very happy I was so determined to fulfill my dream, because I’ve done it, man!

Man... I've had my dyna since 07 and it never stops. You're always changing shit. Trying to better the bike with more power and better suspension and handling... it'll never end. I have a total clubbed out dyna and I'm a dyna bro minus the SOA and sporty thing.... oh don't fuck with Dixxon or dickies either. Pendleton tops and vans pants and shorts....FTW. i have to laugh though... stage 4 with the enduro bike 🤣🤣 I'm totally in the market for one.
