From 2018 and was looking in the comments most of them were 3-2 years old. It seems they had this song in competition for years in many different states because we're playing it too rn and it's been stuck in my head

No offence, this is not a song, it is a 4movement piece. Pretty much any purely instrumental composition should be referred to as a piece. A song has a vocal part and stylistically is much simpler (even classical ones). This fact is not helped spread these days though since every music related app these days refers to all music as "songs" there is no acknowledgement or room for any composed art music styles. Even Jazz standards are not songs. (Some are, or use the tune of a song) but most are instrumental compositions like classical pieces). Also, Celtic music, there are jigs, reels, hornpipes, airs, and of course songs.

wth is the conductor doing. the orchestra is great, especially for a self conducting one
@Chrnan67108 жыл бұрын
He's denoting dynamics and articulation.
@lifeless666 жыл бұрын
he's actually purposely conducting a tiny bit ahead of time so the orchestra knows what's next.
@AdamWrighter5 жыл бұрын
he's doing a great job! it's a light-hearted piece, and he's keeping time while conveying exactly the sort of playful wonder that it should have. lovely.

Supetrb! Definitely one of the better conductors. The result is full of life and does justice to this piece

I played this in 8th grade. It took me a while to catch up, but after hours of practice I got everything down. Definitely an advanced piece but fun to perform!

I am in 8th grade, and we are playing this next monday. If we can play even half as good as this orchestra, then I will be satisfied.
@abi728310 жыл бұрын
Pratiik Kaushik well think about it this way, even to have the chance to play a song like this in 8th grade just proves that your group is really talented. This is like a college level piece, no joke. But i bet your're gonna do great. I wish you luck!
@RichFreeman9 жыл бұрын
Brings back memories. I also played this around 8th grade. Of course I didn't play it nearly this well, but I think schools should be challenging kids more so that they can grow.

If I remember correctly, some orchestras (especially in Europe) have conductors that conduct half a beat ahead. That could explain it
