Since nobody seems to be telling you, I'll be the one to say it. The girl at 7:07 is Soojin, she was a member of (G)I-DLE until she was involved in a false bullying accusation. In 2020 (Or early 2021) she left the group to avoid her members getting backlashed or getting a bad reputation from Koreans since they tend to be extremely serious with the topic of bullying. Most people believe their most recent comeback (NXDE) was dedicated to her due to the similar-looking blonde cartoon they include and due to the inspiration of the M/V being Marilyn Monroe (Fans knew Soojin LOVED Marilyn Monroe). The last comeback they had with her was in HWAA, so I suggest you check out their slightly older songs if you want to see all 6 members.

Soyeon is the one who writes and composes most of the songs ( like pretty much all of them ) Latata was the debut that she wrote herself since Cube entertainement was too lame to give them a debut song. She is also part of K/DA ( along with Miyeon ) , its a group of League of Legends characters that make "k-pop" music ( includes but not limited to : Soyeon, Miyeon, Jaira Burns, Madisson Beer, Bea Miller ) and she is also part of True Damage, another League of Legends related group. "Tomboy" was THE make-or-break song for (G)I-DLE. With over a year on hiatus after the Soojin disaster, Soyeon and CUBE didn't know if the group would be able to bounce back - Soyeon told the members: "if 'Tomboy' does well, we're OK, but if it flops, we're done." Not only did "Tomboy" and the I Never Die album NOT flop, it became a viral sensation that boosted (G)I-DLE into a much higher tier (which "NXDE" built upon just as strongly). Pre-orders for the I Feel mini-album coming out tomorrow are over 1.1 million, their highest ever. Soyeon has written/produced a few songs for other groups. "No" for former CUBE sister group CLC was the best known but there are a few others. I respect and admire Soyeon SO much - she is the reason I got in to K-pop, stumbling across her performance in K/DA let me down the (G)I-DLE rabbit hole!

G Idle debuted 2018 as a 6 member girl group with latata as their title track. as of august 2021 Soojin the 6th member unfortunately left the group. They came back as a 5 member group Soyeon the leader, Minnie the girl with the dreamy voice as Main vocalist, Miyeon the oldest and the lead vocalist, Yuqi the sub rapper and lead dancer and shuhua the youngest with Tomboy their title track to their first full album I Never Die which also includes My Bag. If you are able to check out more before their newest comeback I recommend Hann(Alone), Uh-Oh, Lion, Oh my god and then Nxde they have other good songs but those songs are the most popular and would probably show you more of what they can do.

"Serious stuff ahead" warning. 26:49 2NE1's Lonely and (G)I-DLE's Allergy come from the same place. YG was literally calling CL ugly (in fact, I think he said there is only one good looking person in the group, refering to Dara). When Blackpink debuted, YG was introducing them as "the next 2NE1, only pretty". Soyeon pre-debut was always getting comments like "talented but too ugly to ever be a k-pop star". She said she felt angry when she had to look at the mirror. When another girl said she didn't want to be next to other trainees because she'd look ugly next to them, Soyeon suggested she can stand next to her, because that way she'd look pretty; really breaks my heart. It was only when (G)I-DLE was formed and she became close to the other members, when she got a ton of support and love from them, that she began to overcome that trauma and start building her confidence. Any (G)I-DLE fan will immediately be able to tell that Allergy is a deeply personal song for Soyeon. 29:21 I hope you will not take this the wrong way, but, please note that "you should love yourself" is a _bad advice_ to people suffering from depression (and "I'm getting upset", if you meant her feelings, and not other people's actions, is even worse); it is similar to asking a cancer patient "have you tried not having cancer?". If they could, they already would; it is not something that a bit of willpower can overcome. The inability to follow the advice might actually cause more pain and self-hatred in a depressive individual; so this kind of advice often paradoxically tends to worsen the situation, though it may not make much sense to a person who has not experienced depression. I went to see (G)-Idle in NYC last summer and they performed Tomboy, I can confirm the song sounds 100% better without the bleep. The did the uncensored version for the tour and it was fire.

quick infos to some of the songs Latata: Yes it's their Debut and yes it is about what you think it is Tomboy: Tomboy was their first comeback after one of the members, soojin, was kicked out of the group by cube bc of bullying allegations (that were all proven wrong) and is them talking about not wanting to be classified in a different category just bc they're women. At the end of the video Soyeon crosses out the (G) in G-idle, which stands for "girl" and therefore rejecting the often pushed image of "being good for a girl group" but rather claiming they're just artists, just people My bag: Badass song were Soyeon brags about her Members (the five diamonds in her bag) and each of the members verses is bragging about their best and most popular qualities basically Allergy: You already firgured out the message quite well. The mv has a lot of pop culture references in it and the whole concept of the Comeback i believe is inspired by 2000s high school Rom coms, and personally I immediately thought of the Intro songs to those shows when listening to allergys overall sound. Soyeon is a genius and even tho people try to discredit her and belittle her abilities all the time, this women doesn't play and you better believe she knows what she's doing with each comeback, even if u don't quite get it yourself haha

Ohh my God is a good song to, so is Lion, HWAA, HANN so man good songs. they have crazy stage performances from queendom(latata,fire(2ne1 cover) put it straight nightmare version, Lion).. bad bitch number with BIBI Soyeon and Youngji is great too. they are funny and playful aswell... Miyeon was the 5th member for black pink before the debut. they all have unique charm. That's what I like about G-idle Lion- Women Empowerment Oh My God- Validation for all kinds of love/relationships (such as LGBTQ relationships, etc.) Tomboy- Breaking Women Stereotypes on how they should act NUDE- Also Breaking women stereotypes in terms of how "sexy" is portrayed. Allergy- Harmful societal beauty standards
