I said it before I’ll say it again, regardless of how the story goes Destro is a whole brother. 1. He’s always swagged out 2. He wears mad drip 3. Has that deep husky Berry White voice 4. He has a hot thick white honey (PAWG) hanging off his arm. 😉

@@EyeOfTheWatcher lol I know, but when I was a kid back in the early eighties we used to argue on the school bus about this stuff 😂 there was no internet or way to get details on your favorite cartoons back in the day, so we assumed since his voice actor sounds black on the cartoon… 🤷🏾‍♂️ it’s really just an inside joke, I meant no disrespect to the characters, his creator, or his heritage. I understand he’s a European arms dealer it’s just funny that us old GenXers didn’t know back then. No worries friend, sorry. ✌🏾

@@vereen70 It is not serious so no worries, I was just pointing out Destro's son race, as I know that when he showed up some folks made the joke that he love the sisters. Destro voice actor, in the 80s, was Arthur Burghardt, who is black, so you and your friends where correct in thinking Destro sounded black (i assumed that too, until the background of the character was told in the show). Cartoons and Animations don't always pair the voice actors with the same race characters, as if they had done that in the 80s black folks would not have gotten as much work as they did during that time.

Yah, it's usually LFCS. Local-friendly comic store. Honestly, I think is better as I've run into some crappily ran ones that treated the customers poorly, and in turn, I didn't give them my money.

I read the Destro and CC series just because I liked the idea of giving those previously one dimensional villains more story. But I wouldn't read anything else from this series or the"Energon" universe until they create some titles with more diverse leads.

I don't wanna be the one to say this but... You can't ask for a company to do something if you won't support their initial efforts. I'll tell y'all the same thing I told people about Panthro when Dynamite put out a ThunderCats: Cheetara spin off... If you don't buy Cheetara... you WILL NOT get a Panthro. Why would a company put out ANOTHER spin off book when you weren't already buying the other one?

@@BlerdWithoutFear because the one they put out sucked and isn't what we wanted. Scarlet was one of my favorite characters as a kid. I don't like this Ninja thing they're doing with her. I know she had a key relationship with S.E. back in the day but this seems gimmicky. but most importantly, if they don't put out the right product, so be it. I wasn't asking for a g.i. joe series, don't need it. so if they don't do it right and it fails, then it should fail.
