I don't know if I'm too late with this but you can special order it. I special ordered one exactly like this one with the exception of adding a gun oil stain in the back of the neck and headstock to give it more of a vintage look. PGS did a great job in meeting my demands and communicating with G & L throughout the process.

If you really think about it G&L are the REAL Fenders. If Leo hadn't panicked when he got sick, (thinking he was going to die) and sold Fender to CBS the Fender would have continued using Leo's designs and this axe as well as every other G&L would have FENDER on the headstock.

@rsl84416 That's why Sunburst type finishes are usually more expensive, painted models with the grain totally obscured use the cheaper or not so pretty woods.
