If extra virgin olive oil is used for deep frying, would this be harmful to body? Or, just less anti oxidents to be absorbed?

How do we know if smoke point is exceeded? By seeing when a lot of smoke coming out? If thr isnt any smoke coming out when deep frying with extra vurgin olive oil, is this considered harmful to us?

I use Extra Virgin Olive oil for salads only. First Cold Press Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil for daily cooking. Please comment both different. Thanks

Can u also talk about MCT oil n its usage in Chinese cooking? It has too low smoking point and cannot even used for usual frying....

MCT oil (C6, C8, C10, not including C12 lauric acid) is not suitable for cooking. Though its oil composition is stable on heating, its smoke point is relatively low. ... unlike most seed oil, which smoke point is high, but unstable on heating and will result in polar compounds and other unhealthy products on prolonged heating.
