Finally revisiting this game since 2020 to try and get the rest of the achievements. Just spent 2hrs on this level. The last few times I was just waiting for the npc to do their thing because they weren’t doing it quick enough But I did get it done eventually

This one was one of the hardest. Some of the things I did to make this list finish faster was using the rose instead of the pipe for the bust. I’d also get the slipper while he’s drinking tea first, so that getting the other would be faster. As for the goose bust, I’d often hide it in the bottom left corner of the area, since the lady never checks there and it’s faster to drag the goose bust there than over to the man’s yard.

One thing I've noticed is that most NPCs, including these two, will always investigate a honk, so if you honk while you're in the lower half of *either* backyard the man will come down the stairs wondering about the noise, and most likely notice your laundry while he's there. Keep lines of sight in mind when you're smuggling stuff over, and if he does notice you with any item, either give it to him or bring it beyond his boundaries (either back outside his fence the way you came in or into the lady's yard). Otherwise he will not stop pursuing that item (whether you're holding it or not) until he's thrown it over the fence, and if he goes downstairs at all when there's items in the fountain he WILL notice them.

If disaster strikes and the man finds the stuff in the pond, remember that if he still has his slippers on, and he goes inside the pond, it counts for the quest. This leads to a couple clutch moments.

I did the level perfectly and then I realised for some reason the AI didn’t put the cap on the bust even though they put the glasses and pipe on. Whoever decided this level needed to be a speed run should never work in video games again.

I'm doing it myself atm, and I had the same problem. The others were fun, but this one sucks because it's luck based. Because there is no pattern to the guy sipping coffee or reading the paper. Sometimes, he switches after 3 cycles or keeps going, which is frustrating. I've had perfect runs up until his coffee sipping slipper was need for the barefoot task and he just kept reading his paper and I has like 10 seconds left.

It was mad how easy this one compared to what everyone is saying. Like you could solely focus on the slippers and bust at the start, then go through and drag the vase so he throws it over. While they're complaining drag all the laundry across. Then break the shelf at the back as that'll take her time to repair it, take the soap with you and sneak it past the guy and you've done your washing. Drag the flower across, break the fence and pull the duck through. Take the bust stuff across as that'll distract her once she's done with the drawer thing, then literally wait there with your ribbon. Save the bell for the end because they'll waste time arguing.

this is a huge pain as your completely reliant on the a.i pathing and them doing the right things at the right time and that they be quick enough to get past the time limit (i've been doing this for the last 3 hours now and i either get the man droping his cup and not picking it up the woman hanging around the fence you drop and putting it back up again and again or either of them just not doing the right things at all).

I had an idea, but I don't have the game and I'm not sure how the reset works so I don't know how well it would work. One of the bonus objectives is to dress the bust with items from other levels, but I've seen people's playthroughs in which that also counts for the regular "dress the bust" task. So if you gathered the gardener's hat, any glasses from the high street, and either the toothbrush from the high street or the pacifier/binky from the canal, and brought them into the man's yard when you first entered, he should throw them into the lady's yard for you, right? It would save you the trouble of having to take his things. However I'm sure it would take far too much time to go fetch all that stuff while the five minute timer (edit: seven minutes? I thought it was five) is going. Would it remain by his fence if you set it there and then reset the level? If not, would exiting the game and coming back reset the timer without moving any items?

I don't know if this is any quicker than bringing it to the man again, but if you do ALL the other objectives and then take the vase with you out of her garden and into the house next door (with the soccer/football goal in the backyard), you get shooed through the house and the vase will be thrown out the door after you, breaking it. This counts for the objective.

I hate the ai somehow when stealing the first bust item and bringing it to the rose the man saw me and picked it back up then he went to the fence picking up a single piece of wood then he went to go clean out the fountain of clothes so now I have to restart 😤
