Love the ada s1. I always ran it on mine. They have a low end, mid range, and top end powerband which is nuts. You can feel it hit each range

Thats quick already im sure you will too just keep tuining the high speed needle till you get it just right..i always keep an eye on my spark plug to make sure its perfect and not to lean. The plug tells you everything you need to know, should be a coffee color, check it after a WOT pull down the street. I carry a small flat head to adjust on the fly 🤟🏼

I just got a goped Bigfoot with no engine but it came with an ada racing engine mount. It says I cannot run a “centrifugal clutch” but can I still run a clutch? Does the stock one that comes with the 290 on work? I only messed with sports so I have no clue what clutch fits or not. Not sure if you have that engine mount but just asking around.

So im guessing that engine mount is the ADA 3rd bearing support like whats on my Biggie build...You can still run it clutched for sure cuz that’s exactly how my bigfoot is setup and i love it. Being able to idle is real nice. The stock one that comes with the engines will work but if you already have the billet ada engine moun/3rd bearing support then all you need is the clutch kit for you engine either Chungyang or Zenoah..they are slightly different from eachother.

I'm thinking of either running a zenoah 320rc or a 270rc and the clutch kit you're talking about is this one www.davesmotors.com/ada-54mm-centrifugal-go-ped-scooter-clutch-kit I pretty much want to run the same clutch set up as your bigfoot but I just don't know if they bolt right up. It would be cool if you had a whole build sheet.

@@jeffersonho6886 The g320rc is nice but it doesn’t like to rev high, imo that engine is better for RC cars. The gopeds want to rev high like 17k or better. The 320s have issues with the cranks heating up at that high of RPM. Honestly if i was you i would run a G290rc on the bigfoot with that clutch kit and your ADA mount/bearing support 👌🏼 My bigfoot runs the CY29RC (2bolt case) with the clutch kit for the CY and im running the ADA 3rd bearing with a .850 spindle, walboro 990 carb. its a pretty simple setup, everything on it is pretty much made by ADA. I was going for a overall ADA racing themed build. I will be swapping the a Zenoah G290RC eventually as its a better design with the 4bolt case VS the CY 2 bolt. Just stronger and less likely to blow out the base gaskets..hence why I recommend you run the G290RC on yours.

@@jeffersonho6886 rite on! And yep lol that was me..you ADA mount looks like it was missing the actual bearing tho. Im pretty sure u can buy the replacement..that mount will clean up good as new with some aluminum polish. 👍🏼

How does the mid bleed compare to the end bleed sikk pipes? Any differences?

I have only ran the sikk mid bleed, i know the end bleed is a little louder but as far as power band goes im not sure. I honestly think its a good pipe for the money but theres other pipes that perform better like the ADA s1 on my superX or the flowsystem s1 pipe. The sikk pipe is more of a low to mid range pipe if you ask me. The s1 pipes are better for top end performance and really letting the engine rev out so i guess it really depends what ur going for..low, mid or top end power..

What top speed can you expect out of a g290

It really all depends there’s a few factors like the riders weight and also the overall build. A stock 290 with a 130lb rider will do about 35mph with a .850 spindle approximately at 17k RPMs. Mine currently is topping out at 40mph @ 17k with the black magic .850 spindle and its got the ada s1 pipe (good for top end performance) and the ada tall billet intake manifold running a 990 carb and bartolone racing v2 velocity stack. 40mph is really fast for a spindle drive goped in general, not to many guys ive seen got them to hit 40mph. I can consistently cruise at 38mph no problem tho, the 3rd powerband is sweet! On the right road on a nice day when theres not so much wind & its tuned mint is when i can get it to hit 40mph. The bigfoot hits 40 easier i think bc of the bigger air tires its got..

I would..i use blue loctite, medium strength. If you use say the Red it may strip before it comes loose. I also recommend doing away with the factory screws and put in either allen heads or hex bolts
