noone is better. this is not a competition. all the guitarists, when do the jamming what they play and give is the different tone and melodic lines than the previous solo did before him. I myself appreciate them as all the outstanding guitar men in the world. how can you say Buddy Guy better than Clapton? it is something personal

Satch's talent stands out. Not just noodling but real music; he makes every note count. He has a blues power the others haven't got. And tremendous variety in his playing. Totally brilliant!

@@Jesman71 So many guitarists nowadays touch the strings only very lightly, which has the advantage of being able to play faster. Satch touches and attacks the strings firmly and properly, which brings out many more overtones.

@@nicoladisvevia I’ve seen Joe a couple of times. Once during the Surfing with the Alien tour., flying in a blue dream, and the extremist tour. Amazing!! I used to take lessons with his Drummer Jonathan mover probably between the first two Lp’s.

Paul Gilbert is really THE GOAT here as far as guitar playing is concerned. Incredibly humble about it too because technically he can play anything of theirs - but none of them can play his stuff right now. He would have to play down to their level.

Alexei , there are perhaps as many reasons people hate as there are people. Some are jealous. Others get comfort from their own hatred. And some people are just plain hateful. All of these guitarist on stage didn't end up there by accident. They all earned and deserve respect.

I'm not hating just laughing. I mean....Polyphia are like the marquis of this generation's elite players. Those guys are so innovative, especially Tim Henson. I am a huge fan. But those kids all missed the part where you start with the blues. They can come up with the craziest of techniques and play over crazy progressions with odd times and substitutions....but they can't play 12 bar blues for shit. It's funny. Steve, Joe and Paul are schooling these guys big-time.

Satch and Paul stole the show!! I love watching Paul watch the other guys. He is SUCH A FAN...and a MASTER. He is a wonderful teacher, but you see him just absorbing the other players energy. Plus, he is rocking a tie!! lol. He is such a joy to watch. And, of course, leave it to Dave Weiner to play the only PRS on the Ibanez stage. Such a fun jam!! Killer!!!

Sorry but Joe gave em all a ass whoopin on this one.. They all knew it as well. Not many people can blend all those different styles of soloing into 1 song in one solo and still make it interesting and totally improvised. Paul Girbert was feeling it too. Very cool
