You actually went backwards and downgraded your car by getting aftermarket short rams. Better to get aftermatket cold air intakes or stick to stock OEM intakes with heat shrink wrap on them. Eliminate your PCV valve and plug up all those unnecessary hoses / lines on the intake. Your PCV valve has your entire throttle bodies, upper and lower intake manifold and intake valves and valve ports dirty as hell. Eliminate your coolant lines to the throttle body. Thats just heating up your hot air coming from the short ram intakes even more.

I did the same thing kept the factory air boxes put intake pipes in and drop in filters, do you think the spacers will fit without issue?

@@Tyler-cs5hj I just did the aFe Spacers like 3/4 days ago, I have same as you with Mishimoto Silicone Intake Pipes and I had to cut them a quarter of an inch or a little more. It was brutal, lmao, but It worked like a charm! I cut where the silicone meets the stock boxes and the MAP Sensors are. I didnt touch the throttle body area. Funny thing is when looking at my aFe instructions it doesnt mention cutting ANYTHING, but I think its cause our stock rubbers ones have some play, they look like an accordion. BTW!!! Wroth it, havent started my car yet (big project, doing a lot at once) but Ive done my research and even found like ONE Dyno proof video on a white Honda Accord, pretty cool, makes a difference and its totally wroth it in my honest opinion.

@@GeloNegron thank you so much bro I had a feeling I was going to have to cut the pipes but I wasn’t 100% sure it’s hard to find a video with that setup specifically, I was just hoping the air boxes wouldn’t have to be relocated in some sort of way. Did you feel any difference in the car with like throttle response, or even a little power increase ?
