Got a nice 3x3 opening day with the MegaMeat. Devastated that deer! Just missed a huge 4x4 Blacktail deer two days ago using the V2 at 20yrds! Ugghhh...Buck fever hit me hard!! I was shaking so bad i could barely draw my bow back, vision went blurry, 1/2" right over the back. It still hurts😢

At 40 yards these things do not fly with field point accuracy out of my bow the bmp tip that comes with then hit the bullseye every time but not the actual head

I am having disastrous results with mine. First one out of package flew fairly decent, consistently 4 inches to the right of field points. Day before opener I decided to fine tune sites to them. Got the other two out and they VERY erratic. Right out of the package one flew 8 inches down to right the other flew 8 inches up and to the right. One time they fly fine the next they get about 15-20 yards out then totally veer off. Got my old NAP Spitfires out and they punch same hole each time.

unless you are shooting from a hooter-shooter, you can't blame the heads.
@ethanfeatheroff9135 Жыл бұрын
@@zzz7zzz9 I can because I shoot religiously and at40 yards I can hit the heart almost every time with my broad head of choice these particularly group off of what my field point dose it’s not saying there a bad head they just don’t fly true

@@ethanfeatheroff9135👍. If a guy can shoot decently at all it won’t take just a few shots to see a head that’s going to be trouble. I think so many times people have issues is a bad arrow build, bow and arrows aren’t tuned and the biggest problem is the weekend warrior that gets the bow out like two weeks before season and shoots a few and calls everything ready. lol. There’s apparently thousands of them.

Any chance you can re-test the Deadmeat V2 with your new pressure test?

No deflection test. Its being reworked I wasnt happy with it. Going to try to find different materials.

for heads with more than 2 blades, the cutting diameter would be a measurement of all the blades. not just from one tip to another, like measuring a two blade.
@Chestthumperoutdoors10 ай бұрын
Its a measurement of a straight line through the center of circle drawn around the outside of all the cutting blades. Thus the name cutting diameter. Your measuring cutting edge length

The points are offset to the blades on the V2. In the 100 grain the threads are aluminum in the V2. The blades are vented and sharper in the V2.
@Mrtaco-bs1lg Жыл бұрын
whats the difference between the v1 and v2 though
@Chestthumperoutdoors Жыл бұрын
I think only the ferule
@kelvin0689 Жыл бұрын
They're quite different. Blades of the V2 have a notch that clips into the collar while blades of the V1 are metal injection-molded with a bump that engages the collar. So blades and collars are not interchangeable between the two versions.
@wcwcgarner2717 Жыл бұрын
I am not a fan of mechs wt collars. I know shwacker uses them. And I think sevr does to. But they Are Great Broadheads. So I guess the collar works. I shoot Rage hypodermic no collar

This collar works really well, the collars they had on the Havoc wasn't great though.
