Petra is amazing. It's beyond any words. Out of all your ME tour videos I like Jordan very much. It's cities are lively with people, vibrant and colorful. Those ancient architectures are stunningly beautiful. They represent the persistence of people chiseled out those rocks. Jordan also looks tolerant towards all cultures. Your Muscat adventures with wandering around those mud houses and hiking the rock in the middle of the city every video has its unique flavour. You are becoming a rock star in rocks. :)

Excellent video! It didn't look like a lot of people were at Petra. Is it off-season? Even so, I expected there to be more. Guess we'll get a better idea in the next video. Oh, and the classic Gabe chin scratch @ 22:55 cracks me up. It reminds me or someone but I can't remember who.
@leediaamira74217 жыл бұрын
Shobuddy usually not alot of people visit at this time of the year, because the weather is bad and you can't really hike to see everything out there if it was rainy, so people often visit during spring and autumn and some in summer.

Gabriel Traveler OK how did you find the tour guide/driver to Petra? I'm guessing it's a matter of they will find you before you find them 😜. Also, did you book the Petra tour and hotel as a total "package" or did you book the Petra hotel separately on your own like you usually do?

How much did it cost to go to Petra this way by taxi? By the way, you can also go to Petra by bus from Amman for around 10 Euro .
@GabrielTravelerVideos7 жыл бұрын
It was 50 dinars or about $70. Yes it would be 10 dinars or about $14 to take the bus straight to Petra, but then you miss everything along the way. It's just a direct bus ride.

Yes madaba is a historical Christian city. But this does not mean that Christians in jordan are segregated in their own cities, you would easily find Christians and churches in Amman, Zarqa or Irbid. Both Muslims and Christians in jordan love and respect each other and live in harmony, justice and equality
