I love the clean building walls in this city. No graffiti anywhere, unlike the European cities. So beautiful.

You're out of your fucking mind. A European city with graffiti and garbage (Naples being the perfect example) is still more beautiful than this sprawled out metropolis with no life. There are people (Gabriel is one) who like it and a lot of people (I am one) who enjoy watching him do it. He has also figured out how to live on the road for the same or less money than "home", whatever home is. This lifestyle is not for me, and that is a good thing, as I have a family and local responsibilities, but watching Gabriel go where I never will is fun and a nice escape from the daily grind.

Like the girl in last video enumerating all the countries she went in on so short time. Didn't see a great big smile on her face and she was white like a pint of milk. Go ahead if thats the way you like it. I don't and i won't. Dare to taste it? check out for simple, last Finnsnow videos in Philippines. In whos shoes would you better be in ? He choose a country, stick to it, made a really cute girl friend and really enjoy his time there. He encounter shit sometime but the reward is there.

maybe I'm going against the stream, but I live in Dubai since 4+ years and I find living here cheaper than other big metros like London, Toronto or the Bay Area cities. Ofc it's all about personal expenditure management, but many things like blue collar services, public transportation (taxis esp.), electronics, cars, mid-range restaurants, rents and cost of houses compared to year of building size and facilities, cinemas, fresh snacks, ... I find them way cheaper here than in other metros. What is really expensive are telecom bills (most expensive in the world) and alcohol in pubs/restaurants (as expected).

No, I've had rooms for more than $100 back in the U.S. But I don't get those very often and not for very long, only a night or so if it's the only thing available. For example when I flew to Alaska then all the hostels in San Francisco were booked up, so I had to get a hotel room and it was a little more than $100.

Just so you know - I think you may have asked about "At the Top - Sky" package for the Burj, which is their premium service and costs over 500 dhs. It's pretty cool in that you get to go to the luxury sky deck on the 148th floor, where they serve you champagne and canapes - as opposed to the "regular" observation deck on the 125th floor with all the schlubs. ;) However, if you buy online for off peak hours it should only cost 130 dhs for the regular observation deck.

Hi Gabriel and fellow followers, just a quick note and maybe a correction on hotel costs around the world. I'm an Australian and I can tell you I have traveled all over this wide brown land from down under and the minimum cost in any wayside hotel is $85.00USD a night and that is your basic hotel/motel, no breakfast nothing fancy and the price is creeping up towards to $90USD a night and that is anywhere as you travel. So in my humble onion Australia has some of the most expensive accomodation in the world, not Dubai
@GabrielTravelerVideos7 жыл бұрын
I read somewhere that Dubai was the second-most expensive city for accommodation. I don't remember now where I read that. But keep in mind that just because there are some good deals doesn't mean that's the typical price. IThere are lots of hotels downtown that will be much more expensive, hundreds or even thousands of dollars a night.
@1danacom7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Gabriel, I'm sure your right there, yes we have some good deals here is Auz but overall the average price of single self contained room accomodation for the average traveler is creeping towards the $90USD a night price. We call them motels here and there are thousands of them, don't get me wrong the accomodations are good but not as good as the one you stayed in for $60USD a night. On average what you got for $60USD would cost $150USD a night here and I'm talking average budget motels/hotels or slightly better all two star accomodation. Once again thanks for your amazing video's and travels info, really appreciate your work Gabriel.

I just used common sense. I knew that UAE was more of an open, tolerant society than Saudi Arabia for example. It's so multi-cultural here that there aren't as strict of cultural norms. If I went to Saudi Arabia or Iran then I would do more research about what I should and shouldn't do.
