0:30 That ticking clock sound is also in Phantasmagoria, in that shop that's run by that woman who knows everything about the area... where you don't buy anything, you just talk to her and learn about stuff. This ticking clock sound is there, but you don't notice it as much because Adrienne and that owner of that store drown out the sound when they're talking. Here, there's usually no other sound at all, so that sound stands out. Of course, it's nothing compared to visiting the cuckoo clock shop. In 1994, I was 5. Even then, I knew about the King's Quest and Space Quest games because my brother played them. I was completely unaware of the existence of the Gabriel Knight series until about 10 years ago. I was in my mid 20's and these games had just turned 20. Gabriel is confused because he doesn't know why Grace is in Rittersburg. It's not like he asked her to come. He also doesn't understand how Grace could know anything since he knows that his library is locked. It's not like he had any way of knowing that Grace snuck into Gerde's room and stole the key. And he thinks "The Black Wolf" is unimportant because the hair at the crime scene was reddish brown. True, he should learn to trust Grace more, but we saw her behavior. True, her research was on point, but she did indeed act kinda crazy at times, so Gabriel wasn't entirely wrong when he said that she was losing it. 11:52 Good observation! 12:05 Adam is right. This is one of those facts that was in the werewolf book. This is why it's important to remember what was in it (not that I can judge after I admitted that I had trouble remembering what was in the book. I'm just saying don't repeat my mistakes and remember what's in the book). I don't really like Xavier. He's not very nice. I get that he's confused as to why Gabriel is there, but he should have trusted that there's a reason that his boss invited Gabriel into the club so soon. Once Gabriel was invited in, Xavier's attitude towards him should have changed. It did not. Yeah, as soon as FMV became a thing. Sierra should have stuck with it until the end. There was no reason to go 3D. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. GK3 would have been great in this style. Instead, they did it in 3D, and it does not look good. The graphics of GK3 are the worst thing about that game, even worse than any puzzle in that game, and that's saying a lot. At least it was still a regular Gabriel Knight game, as opposed to KQ8 which completely went off the rails. QFG5 is the best of those games, but even that was a huge downgrade from QFG4 in many ways. The artwork wasn't as good, the interface wasn't as good, the soundtrack may have sold well but wasn't as good as the QFG4 soundtrack IMO, the voice acting wasn't as good, QFG5 doesn't have John Rhys-Davies for some reason,... Sierra did a lot of things wrong in the late 1990's. But with this game, they got it absolutely right. Leber is a jerk. It's silly for him to get mad about Gabriel talking to the press, when Gabriel wouldn't have had to do that if Leber had just listened to him in the first place. To make matters worse, I don't think he believes in werewolves, so he won't be much help. 21:24 Me too! But not just the first one. The first 2. I think you'll find that the 2nd one is as good as the first one by the time you're done with it. I actually prefer the 2nd one, but both of the first 2 are classics. The police station music is the same melody as the first game, but there's a key difference: the drums. If you pay attention, you can hear that the drums are very different in this game compared to the first one, which gives is a different feel. I like it better in this game. And when I go back and do the first game again, I am disappointed by the police station music in that game... because I know I've heard it done better. 33:39 The point is that Gabriel believes that the zoo wolves do figure into this, but not in the way that the police thought. Gabriel thinks that they are not responsible for the killings, but they relate to the case in a way. You'll understand it more later. 36:01 Good question! I feel bad for the old lady that Leber was talking about (the one who saw the black wolf). She was telling the truth and no one believed her. And she kept witnessing more and more wolf attacks and still no one believed her. She knew that if people believed her, these attacks could be stopped. That had to be hard for her.

That Nick Pics name, either it was something where they were not thinking when they named it that, or they were thinking, but totally in the wrong place. Idk which one. 😉😂🤣 And I agree, just with the reactions, this does seem like a fun game. I liked that talking to the press to get the cops attention. And really enjoying this. Thank you for this.
