Yeah I was about say there are some incredible strikers in mma and you could argue that thai fighters are sloppy in the clinch bc the thai clinch can be used in mma but it has to be a modified version of it

I think Varga would probably lose. I hate using age as a advantage/disadvantage but Haggerty is a decade younger with insane cardio.

I can relate to using bigger gloves feels very different. I usually train with hybrid MMA gloves and i tried out 12oz boxing gloves the other day and it was almost like i was doing a new sport😂😂😂

Another great analysis Gabe! It was awesome running into you this morning! Good luck with your next fight in KC. Go get that belt! Hopefully you do get to fight Haggerty. He is a very winnable fight for you. He's a single shot, kick heavy fighter that leaves himself quite open to uppercuts and teeps to the body. If you need someone that can mimic that style I know a guy :)

I think if Fabricio stands in front of Haggerty he will get wrecked, Nong O got slept , Haggerty has serious weight in those hands. Also you mentioned possibly fighting Haggerty as he is currently in your weight class, do you think you would have any issues making that weight with One's hydration testing?

rodtang always gets mad when his opponent is longer and backpedals a lot to use his reach more effectively, I notice lol.

@@huwhitecavebeast1972 Yeah I can tell. That beating Rodtang gave him in boxing range was brutal. Rodtang has a very "suicidal" mentality he just keeps moving forward. I wonder how early he will get brain damage... For sure he has received more than 10,000 punches to the face by now. I mean thats the type of life he likes anyway so can't blame him.

@@Un1-ju2pq yeah of course but i mean that he gets visibly mad, he taunts his opponent a lot when they backpedal at higher levels they wont take the taunts seriously, they know its bait. But he probably does it because as a short guy taunting angrily so they come in to brawl is a viable strategy that has worked lol.

Haggerty needs to work on increasing his punching power, and checking more kicks. Those are his weaknesses imo.

I am wondering how Haggerty will fare when elbows are removed. I know he just KOed Nong-O, but his hands are not that great.

His build isn't suited for Muay mat. The Muay sok and the Muay Khao act as foils for the Muay mat. If haggerty lost elbows, his best bet would be to go for clinching knees. I think the less tools a sport allows you to have, the less interesting to watch it is.

I agree his hands kind of suck. Not much power, partly because he doesn't drop his scapulae down. His punches are barely more than arm punches, and Rodtang swings for the fences. In particular, Haggerty is not good in the pocket.
