sharks are my favorite animals and its so sad it seem more and more types of them become extinct, we need more laws and a “shark season” so they can reproduce. but i would rather then not kill them but every other type a fish is over fished it would mess up the ecosystem ☹️

So, it's an investment, but upgrade your carrying capacity asap. The fish get real heavy from village onward. If you're only shooting one fish use the upgraded Hush Dart with the higher magazine - nets can catch up to 7 fish at a time otherwise. The tranquilizer harpoon works well to 3 star large prey you can drone out as well as the stronger fish depths and beyond the village. Lastly... Fear the Thresher. Once both types of tuna show up in the area (Yellowfin will show up now to the right near the surface) the Thresher Shark will also appear. It's... well.. swim fast, Gab.

Just a tip, the net gun is super useful for getting high quality fish specimens, and I think for getting fish eggs for your farm. Most fish are catchable with the net gun, unless they’re quite large (or most predators, though you can catch smaller ones like lionfish). It becomes pretty useful in later areas in particular!

With my busy schedule, I've been having a heckuva time keeping caught up on Dave, but I have been loving this game. And especially now it's amazing to see the Michael Bang-splosion of added things to do : deep sea diving and sushi restaurant management now also has questing in an underwater village, farming rice, and managing a fish farm too. Plus of course all the mini-games, this game is getting more and more brilliant. I could imagine the outrage from Lois Crawford at the roasted shark head, though honestly she had it coming given her spoiled attitude at the hotel. Culturally speaking, I also find that living here in the States...there is a taboo when it comes to serving animal parts like a head, at least compared to other parts of the world. As for myself, there is a Mexican seafood dish that is a favorite of mine (even had it for a birthday once). It is basically a whole tilapia that is fried and served as is. I never got much out of the head, but the overall fish was still delicious. Most places don't serve it, and even nowadays I'm not so sure we have any left. Fugu has also remained on a list of foods I haven't had yet, had my eye on that lovely blowfish dish since The Simpsons. Hmm seeing all this delicious sushi and the other exotic fish dishes reminds me of a time when I had wanted to do a food and travel blog, something in the stylings of the late great Anthony Bourdain's work. I know he would have eagerly gone after that shark head and ngl I'm curious about it myself now. I have added it to the list. 😋 Well anyway, I have a few new alerts so I will have to pause before the next VOD. Goodbye-ternity 😎

Love how this game is pretty accurate when it comes to fish, although the tiger sharks look like a great white with stripes and the sizes of some of the animals is a little insane. I love this series regardless. I love the ocean. Love your content.

All the little butterfly-net fish you keep skipping are costing you tons of money. The seahorse dish has a flavor profile of 410 at max level, and they weigh nothing! The silver bowls can be sold for 50g each, so every one you swim by is like not picking up free money off the street.

So funny hearing people weirded out by eating shark! Haha Its super common in Australia, we call it flake and its a staple in fish and chip shops. People fish specifically for them and nothing goes to waste either because the skin, fins and tail are crazy healthy for dogs and their joints so its everywhere in pet shops too. Gives them a really shiney coat and takes hours for even a staffie to chew through them ❤

Shark meat is a very special ingredient and not all the reasons for this is good. First of all, sharks only eat meat, and they are saltwater fish. A protein heavy diet creates a lot of waste products and saltwater fish live on a razor's edge with their salt balance, so sharks store a lot of these waste products in their tissues so they can get rid of them little by little. This means that if you kill a shark, it's meat will generally have an overpowering ammonia smell and taste, so in order to make use of it you need to remove the ammonia in some way. Common methods include boiling it out before roasting or baking the meat, I have no idea what you're supposed to do for shark head tempura though, boiling it and then frying it in hot oil sounds quite dangerous.

this series is so fun!! there are so many elements to this game! can't wait for the next episode! also, regarding the guns (if someone hasn't mentioned it already) each gun has a different type of key pressing. remembering which gun has which key pressing can help you remember which keys to press based on the gun you have! hope this helps!

The fried green leaf was shiso. It's served raw, tempura, or wrapped around sushi. Real shiso has a preserving factor, and was traditionally put in sushi or bento boxes to separate the food and keep it fresh. Sushi boxes today have green decorative plastic to replicate shiso.

The things you have to Press when cathing the fishes does not change for each type of fish, but it changes when you change hooks (ex. From normal til electrical hook)

Yusuke is great as a cook! And appeal only affects the number of ingredients you get when you dispatch staff! A few other tips: 1. you don’t need to fill up the menu, you can just serve the dishes that bring you the most money or fans, and then top up the menu in the middle of the shift as needed. This way you don’t waste ingredients 2. Operation costs go up a ton once you get to platinum rank, so be sure you have good dishes to sustain the costs! 3. You can dash in the sea people village without losing any o2

I couldn't help but notice the "waterfalls" in the Sea people's village. I really really hope those are not actually flowing brine pools, as those are the only thing that could resemble a separate "lake" underwater. They're also toxic and easily deadly to normal sea creatures, as they contain high salinity and low oxygen. Do the Sea People like to live life on the edge?
