25 years ago Gaffney was the biggest cruising town in the Southeast. The city banned it because it would take 2-3 hours to get through town.

Cherokee Co. (SC) is the only county in the US that has 3 national parks, all connected to the Revolutionary War. At 34 you passed Gaffney’s famous T-bridge, presently closed for repairs. It is said that there is only one other one like it in the world, in Japan.
