If your dog is an off breed, some trainers can unfairly be weird about that. But in a lot of cases, if multiple clubs wont accept you (and they aren’t full) your dog probably isn’t suited for the sport, and that’s ok! It takes a very specific type of dog to excel

Why gloat about that but then say my dog isn't any good, if you're already training dogs that don't traditionally do IGP why not try something else? I think he just couldn't be arsed

@ Shield K9 Dog Training - I know it's not as good as you wanted but congrats on IGP 1. I spoke to you a few weeks ago about topic ideas regarding dominant dogs. I wanted to say that I watched all of Vasko's videos and you label him as a "gangster dog". I am really hoping you can add this dog, and gangster label, to any future conversation regarding dominance, social and handler aggression. I really like Vasko's attitude as I have a dog that seems simalr to him. I wouldn't call him "truly" dominant but he is up in the spectrum and can be a nasty a-hole and handler aggressive if not handled correctly. Congrats again and keep up the great work. I think you are doing all dogs across Canada, and the globe for that matter, a great service with your no BS information.

Congratulations for the title! Nice routine for a young dog, it is very educational to see this with comments! I also have the problem with jump skip jump skip in the heeling and I don’t know how to fix it. My dog is very excited and heeling with a lot of energy but it makes her hard to keep position, which causes the ugly heeling with skipping steps. If I try to bring the energy down she loses her focus. So it is a hard line to walk.

my helper just sticks a folding chair in the blind and that helps the dogs get the position not to out their body towards the elbow during the hold and bark

I’m really enjoying your videos and your straight forward explanation. I’ve been around and trained hunting dogs and stock dogs my whole life. We just got a sport line Germane Shepherd puppy for my wife. My question is what is the practical use for dogs to heal in the way you are showing other than in a field trail. I’m not knocking it I really would like to know before I continue training (personal protection) thanks for sharing your knowledge.

@Haz is the Hop-skip to do with Gauge’s stride length being out of whack with yours, where he needs to shorten/lengthen his pace every other step or so to stay in place for each of the walking speeds, or is it just a quirk that he’s developed? :)

88 n 90 were very liberal tbh, anyways well done. Handler errors were visible at the beginning as well, especially with the walking, would work on that definitely.
