"Gaia" Watercolour Painting with Viviva Colorsheets // Let's talk about Fate

I wanted to do a painting and a review on Viviva Colorsheets and talk to you guys a little about how this painting came to be. I'm also using a col-erase pencil, uniball signo and m.graham & co. gouache.

This painting process is just somehow so relaxing to watch. Just the relatively simple contrast and color scheme is just so satisfying to watch being laid down. Also it was nice to hear your thoughts about the process in your mind, I am always fascinated by how people come to do their pieces.

There's a quote I like, "ah! you are exactly what I have been looking for," and that has really helped me through those moments of 'ugh why is this happening to me' and if you reflect long enough, you'll always notice this is true! basically it just means you should try to find a way to look at every negative thing as a way for a positive thing to happen later on :)

It's good to see that an American producer is making these watercolors. I have a set of Peerless Watercolor sheets that I had to order from Australia. I have created a travel sized palette that tucks into a small art journal. One of the drawbacks to these vibrant handy sheets is that they are not light fast. Do you know if these Vivias are?
