Even if you uploaded one video every 10 years, I'd be watching it and waiting for it 😅😅 I understand you Audra, I have pcos as well and the toll that takes on the body and mind has made me stop doing art for 3 years 😢😢

Its so rough when chronic pain and disability get in the way, im definitely in the same boat with that one. Honestly, if you hate making videos (or editing) i say screw it! Wasting spoons on things you dont even enjoy has got to go. You're a brilliant artist. I have so much faith that you can suceed if you find the path that works. You are such an inspiration to me, i cant do computers or anything digital, making prints is definitely hard when im like that. Knowing you've persevered and made it to some extent gives me my own hope, even moreso when you can tell your audience youre stepping down from something for your benefit. We need to take care of ourselves ❤, so much love to you ❤

Hey Audra! I'm cleaning out my youtube subscriptions today for the first time in over six years and it's been a wild ride learning what the people I was watching when i was a young teen are up to now. Your farewell is the only one that made me tear up. Your art inspired me so much when I was younger, even just your energy - something about you always felt very warm and calming. I remember wanting to be just like you. Nothing lasts forever, and that's okay, and I am happy for you for making this decision. Prioritizing can be tough, dropping something so time and energy-consuming as KZbin can be tough, but it is important to choose what you know is best for you. Whatever your path in life, I wish you happiness, I wish you balance, and I wish you power, and every good thing there is. Thank you for all the wonderful time and inspiration, you've been a blessing ❤❤❤

You better NOT be saying that the indigenous people are lying.
@AudraAuclair9 ай бұрын
Wow, that isn't very nice. The sculpture was misidentified by the MUSEUM so the entire indigenous people didn't claim it was theirs, the museum did. The museum apologized for their misidentification. It was proven to be made by a guy who sculpted it by the ocean 4 years before its finding. The reason WHY I would believe it was misidentified was that the museum said it was misidentified by THEMSELVES and I don't know much about the type of stone but I know it's a stone that wears down more than others I'd think that if it WAS an old artefact it'd be more worn being that close to the ocean. If I thought someone was lying I'd say they were lying, I literally just re-iterated what the news said. This kind of crap is why I left KZbin. Even if KZbinrs never say anything wrong and avoid any topics of touchiness the fear of comments like this really wears down people who create on this platform. I thought "This is an interesting story and thought it'd be cool to find a sculpture on the ground like that, maybe I'll share this." It was sent to me while I was filming this so I just added it in. Everything has to be perfectly worded with all bases covered to armour yourself from any possible way someone could judge you or twist your words to create drama. Please, try to have faith in the goodness of people. I've lived decades with Indigenous people in my life, my talented sister is Indigenous, and I know how much their voices are unfairly suppressed by our society here in Canada, it's not something I take lightly. Hence, why this irritates me so much.

Shot in the dark here... How well did the screentone end up adhering to the paint? Is it still attached after 2 years? Anyways, thanks for your time. And beautiful painting btw.

Audra ,you are so cool! I relate to everything you talked about. I've been officially diagnosed with clinical depression and I'm here to say it's no joke. It has been a struggle my whole life and many people don't understand how difficult it is. I do everything possible to stay healthy ; meditation ,exercise ,eating right , not isolating, and staying out of my head. And definitely not playing the comparison game. I try to think of all of us artists as one big family to teach ,learn from , support, encourage each other. Also plateauing, or "artist block" is a natural part of the learning process. Our brains need time after taking in information to rest, sort everything out, and implant it firmly into our long term memories. Then when we are ready and well rested we start the whole process again. when I remember this ,artist block doesn't feel like a negative thing. So anyhow I totally love listening to you talk while I draw in my sketchbook. so thank you for that. 😺

These palettes with wells and silicone lid is the way to go with liquid gauche! -coupled by a few drops of anti-fungi and anti dry agent, as well as a misting machine to add humidity. I think this would be a perfect easel if it was also lightweight. I am thinking a foam sandwich of some kind would be optimal (like a strong gator board). Also the backplate should smooth enough for wet watercolour paper to cling to it, in order to stretch it.

I know this video is 5 years old now, but over the years when I find myself in a really dark place and wanting to give up with art I always end up coming back to it and it inspires me to keep drawing no matter how heavy the pencil feels. There’s something about the whole vibe of the drawings, the music, your storytelling that always cheers me up and gets me drawing again ☺️ thank you for creating this and keeping it up, I hope with enough practice someday i can create art just as beautiful as yours. ✨

Thank you for this ♥️🥲 I'm really tired so my brain can't come up with nice literate stuff to say but i relate to your struggles and mindset so much it's unreal. So much you said resonates with me and i'm so glad to hear someone talking about them. I know adhd and mental struggles are being talked about a lot more now but it still means a lot to me when someone shares their views and thoughts.
