It's great and surprising to see someone like Johnny here. He's one of my favorite English voice actors, as well, alongside Yuri Lowenthal, who ironically voiced Johnny's character's partner, whose Persona is Jiraiya! I have to wonder if Yosuke being a bit of a perv has something to do with Naruto's Jiraiya being one? That's neither here nor there, though.

The reason why Jiraiya is of the Magician Arcana in P4 is because of all the "tricks" that the Frog does in the Legend proper. The disappearing bridge, shooting fire out of its mouth, summoning smaller frogs to do its bidding. Those kinds of tricks are more associated with MAGIC tricks in the Western side of the world.

As I grew to like Adam Park, as both Black MM and Zeo and Turbo Green, and one of the best unique episodes of Power Rangers (Always a Chance), little did I realize at the time he'd be a staple of the anime and game industry I would find myself immersed in BECAUSE of Power Rangers. And to see that he returns to his roots to help discuss why something that's been made as a joke at his character's expense (at least, among those unaware of the cultural tropes) actually makes him the most badass ninja? And even recognize Kakuranger!? And a few days before the 25th Anniversary!? You guys win even more than you already have! Thank you so much!

I mean, Power Rangers has been around for quite a while and it still makes A LOT of money for Saban (and now Hasbro cause they bought Power Rangers) and the people who created Super Sentai. If it didn’t work, it wouldn’t be as popular and as long lasting as it is today.
