This one hit me so hard: "Confidence is silent. Know that you don't have to speak because you don't need to impress others. Listen and learn" One of the best motivations I've heard in a long time.
@KJ-kl8vj
@KJ-kl8vj Жыл бұрын
1. Personal accountability (make sure you’re doing the little things you need to do everything and go from there) 2. Know your dream life(finding a life partner)(bigger glutes)(self love)(good finances) Visualization. Be grateful for everything you do have. Think about how you would feel living your dream life. Don’t be stuck in the past and live in a negative/low frequency. 3. Think about the person who lives that dream life. Study that person. How would that person behave? What boundaries do they have?What characteristics do they have?What did they have to sacrifice? What does their day look like? Embody dream life into a persona. What is the highest version of myself 4. Know your strengths you’re at an advantage when you don’t have a talent cause you have to work twice as hard. It has to be something you can be obsessed about. 5. Look at people who are in the top level of what you’re interested in. Do what they do. Don’t do what they don’t do. Don’t copy people but look at blueprint of other successful people. Look at their traits. 6. Look at goals as a tree. X amount of energy and you put it in the tree. The more energy you put into it the more distractions. The tree gets branches and the energy is flowing away from main tree and it cost energy to grow and the tree doesn’t grow as much and main goal slow down. Cut branches and redirect your energy. 7. Focus. Let go of everything that doesn’t relate/lead to reaching this goal. 8. Become resilient: ability to adapt to difficult situations and still keep going. Go to the gym. 9. Dip: grey area. Feel like you’re not progressing even though you’re doing everything you should be doing. Think of a staircase. One step input and one step output. Dip is where you’re put in a lot of effort into input to get output. Put in work long enough to reap the benefits of your effort 10. Build your confidence. You will believe you can achieve what you set your mind to. Keep promises you make to yourself. Confidence isn’t loud it’s silent. You don’t have to impress other. Listening and learning 11. Start small. Build from there.

When I discovered your channel in my recommended at first I thought "here's another pretty gym girl who's just got clout" but I see you're big on self development and you're a cultured individual. As someone aspiring to establish themselves in the digital space to help young men with my experience, I am so pleased to have come across this video and hear you talk about these things! They're instrumental in moving the goal posts for yourself and the part about Can't Hurt Me is so true! Also being former military I am always challenging myself to go one more in the gym and continue the fight in all other aspects of my life. Thank you for this video, you've helped me stay the path.

In neuroscience visualisation is so powerful! Including visualising what would happen if you DON'T do what you need to do to. Visualising failure can be even more powerful than visualising winning. Although knowing where you want to go is key, visualising failure has proven to be very motivating

Dear Sophie! As 2022 ends today I would love to thank you for being the biggest part of my fitness journey this year. I have discovered you quite a while back after I started working out 2 almost 3 years ago but only this year did I discover your workout channel and ever since then I have been doing all your workouts, I swear by this! i do check your channel everyday to see if there’s a new workout video uploaded. For the past few months I was feeling so uninspired and unmotivated and despite doing all your workouts I was not able to see results I wanted because of how much sugar I was eating and how little sleep I was getting but a month back I started getting back on track and right now I feel the most comfortable in my body I have been eating a lot of protein and fruits and all the good stuff but I do have a little snack every now and then too😅 and I really can the difference in muscle mass and how I’m actually feeling much more stronger physically and mentally too. It’s so crazy to me how someone across the world could really impact my life and my fitness journey. You have made me the best version of myself this year and will do so throughout everything. Thank you and I love you!!!!!! have a super amazing 2023❤ I’m from Korea and I’ll always be supporting you❤

I have heard that Keto diets may help to some degree, some people with epilepsy or that have seizures. Some people with seizures or epilepsy may be very sensitive to forms of sugar or carbohydrates which may trigger or increase seizures or continue to cause the epilepsy. The thing is the process of cutting substantially on sugar or carbohydrates takes a long time to notice any change, if sensitivity to sugar or carbohydrates is contributing to the seizures or epilepsy.

@@sophithomson3215 Low blood sugar and blood sugar out balance contribute to anxiety and depression to some people. One way to find out if Your body has blood sugar balance problems is to have a Doctor prescribe a 5 hour Glucose Tolerance Test. If the blood sugar is low it is called Hypoglycemia. The body needs sugar(carbohydrates) but some peoples bodies can only handle a little. Also there are different forms of sugar(carbohydrates). Each Person needs to find out what kind of sugar(carbohydrates) and how much their body best functions with.

At the beginning of this year my goal was to be in better shape. I started going to the gym in February, lost around 25 lbs and I have been consistent in the gym going 5 days per week. My body composition is changing and I started to see the changes. Thanks to your abs videos I started to see definition on my abs after having two babies. Thank you!!...... My problem is since I became a mom my focus change, I stop pursuing my career side, put in on the side to focus on my kids and now I don't know how to balance and start focusing on my career again. Like all the other aspects of my life I feel good. I feel blessed. But just this part of my life I feel I need to do something about it to feel complete. But I just don't know how. Not just about accepting your own issues. People have to deal with underlying issues that affect them from their childhood but then learn to change the future. You hold your self accountable for your change in narrative but people cannot hold their self accountable for prior trauma that caused them to develop depression. It’s great your working to teach people to be positive because strength based approaches are best but Narrative approaches confront the history to change the future. 😊 look into Person in Environment theory we use this in social work

Yes, I wanted to mention this too. It's also important to work on underlying beliefs we have learned from parents or guardians and the people around us. For example, having a negative mentality over money, sexuality or just about anything we have heard or experienced as young children can shape the way we think as we get older. This is something I want to work on first. I can visualize all I want and imagine what I want out of life but that won't happen until I change my way of thinking about myself and the world around me.
