Well I just had to comment before you even started making the cards! I remember S&H green stamps! They had a catalog and you could use them to purchase select items in a “special” area of the store. I also remember “White” laundry detergent and they included drinking glasses inside the box of detergent! You could buy a new box every month and you got a different style of glass. If you wanted multiple versions you could buy more boxes! I had better pay attention as your getting closer to creating the cards! Thanks Lindsay you are so engaging and a joy to work with!

We must be about the same age because I remember pledge stamps and they had a plaid stamp store that you could only use stamps in to get your purchases done also glasses in the detergent bottle

I remember those things too!!!! My ex-husband was from turkey 🇹🇷 going grocery store was like a freebie day because everything had unsentimental. Some made sense like but 6pk come get a classic coke glass, some not so much, buy cooking spray get a toy car. But there was always a cup in the Oatmeal and laundry dertergent! I miss those days!

I was born in the 50s and remember S&H Green Stamps very well. My mom would receive them from the grocery store. You pasted them in booklets (my sister and I did that). There was a catalog so you would know how many stamps were needed for items. We'd take the filled books and go to the S&H store downtown and "buy" something. Enjoying your video very much and love the paper dolls. I stopped it so I could post this. Looking forward to seeing the cards

The Carol Burnett show skit was "Went With The Wind", a parody of "Gone With The Wind". As Rhett compliments Scarlett about her dress, with the curtain rod sticking out through the shoulders, her reply was " I saw it in the window, I couldn't resist." 😁 I watched The Carol Burnett Show religiously every Saturday and have the Went With The Wind Barbie that looks just like Carol. I did buy the stickers because from Say Chat. My plan currently is to make bookmarks for Galentine's Day (what a GREAT idea by the way) using these and thrift store sewing patterns.

I love the long videos, esp card making. I like the fact that you keep stamps that you like and that you mix and match brands. As far as availability goes, I've gotten several stamp sets over the last year with sewing themes. None the same as yours but similar enough to use. I just browsed Amazon and there were quite a few stamps of various pattern style illustrations of women. So if one is flexible enough for similar, rather than the same, one can create. I've also got a button embossing folder and was thinking how to use that in cards like these.

Hi Lindsay, Ive started watching again. I was watching a few hours ago, when loadshedding started here, so there was no more card making video to watch. I am enjoying your chatting as you go through the stickers and stamps. It feels like you are my crafty friend and we are crafting together and chatting. (I don't have any crafty friends ) I remember paper dolls and playing with them ☺. I like how you say you don't have to have everything like you do, and to use what you have. It is amazing to me, (while watching someone else on line) how she seems to come out with new stamps and die's , every few weeks. I don't know how people even get a chance to enjoy and use there products, if they are buying every set. I don't even have any stamps whatsoever, but I still enjoy watching, as I get some ideas and tips. And just enjoy watching you make your cards.

Ps. Loadshedding is: here in South Africa, we have had major problems with electricity, with loadshedding on and off, for a long time. But a few months ago, things got really bad, and it has been permanent. Loadshedding means that we don't have electricity certain times du ring the day. Each city has a list and each town. Stages 1-4, means we don't have electricity for 2 to 2 1/2 hours a time, up to 3 times during a 24 hour period. Stages 5-8 means we don't have any electricity between 4 to 4 1/2 hours each time, 3 or so times during a 24 hour period. So that while I couldn't watch further, as no electricity, so no wifi, and alot of other things. Causing major problems as time goes on. Not even to mention the electricity appliances been switched on and off a few times a day. Remembering to take the car out the garage before it goes off, if manual is too difficult. Sorry for such a long story, just thought I would explain, incase you didn't know what it was

What a great way to spend the afternoon and I didn't let myself feel like I wasn't being productive. It was fun and relaxing and I got some great ideas. A while back I asked you for suggestions about what markers to take on a camping trip. Your answer of course made perfect sense...trip got canceled...markers went back in the box. A new trip is planned for the end of Feb. My new plan now is to find some vintage fashion coloring pages grab a few of my new color cube cards and match them to my spectrum noir 'markers and off i will go. In fact I might just do a test drive of that plan over the weekend. You know I can't leave without a story. When I was in high school most of my clothes were sewn either by me or my mom. One day I was wearing one of the dresses my mom made. My math teacher sent me to the office because he was bothered by how low cut my dress was. Now my mom was more of the teacher/school is right kind of a mom. Let me tell you she was not pleased. She took it very personally, that they thought that she would even make me a dress that was too revealing let alone send me to school in it. Bought me a lot of slack the rest of my time in high school.

You are so welcome! I highly recommend a scan n cut. Its like having a matching die for every stamp you have. A real bargain when you think about it and is easier than lining dies up over images and cranking it through a machine over an over. It's worth saving up for. Mine was $250 a few years ago. Still runs great and the blades last a long tume.

Love the cards Lindsay and especially all the details and the extras-pockets extra stickers bookmarks etc. Just wonderful! Who would want to send it on to someone else? I know it’s something I would keep and treasure😊❤

Grrrr… I’d managed to chill on the Gansi Tambi craze (except for the Starry Nights) until now… and I thought this palette would be no different and would be safe to watch…. But they came out so much softer and cuter and muted and pastel than they look in the pans… and now I WANT THEM! Lindsay - TheEnablerCrafter strikes again! 😂😂😂

This is a cool video. It took me 3 days to finish it but I came back all 3 days. Your cards are awesome and the way you mix and match textures are really interesting.

Thanks so much. I enjoyed everything. I am one of the folks who buys stickers and "saves" them for the "right" project! 😀
