Green Berets don't volenteer for the unit. They are selected from other units.

They have 18X Enlistment Option. Special Forces Selection Candidate. Also, they DO volunteer from other units. That's how you get to Q Course.

@@daviddiehl-gy2sq no, you can. That's what the 18X MOS is for. You can go straight from BCT to SF Selection under 18X.

@@TheJefe83 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta is the most selective and difficult SF unit to get into. You don't volunteer for it. They pick you.
