I have the same watches. My favorite: The OnePlus watch 2. I like the design and features. Awesome battery life. Great video. I enjoyed watching it. Greetings from Germany❤

On my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, i just turned it off when i charge. You still can tap the power button to see the percentage that's about it. I noticed it charges faster imo.

Hi, do you have an opinion on the Ticwatch Pro 5 Enduro? I know it's only a bit of an update/upgrade to the Pro 5, but would love your take on it, if possible? Especially in comparison to the OnePlus Watch 2. I really like the specs/functionality of the Ticwatch, but like the look of the OnePlus more, so I'm a bit torn. I found your review so extensive and informative and I wouldn't say no to an honest opinion. Thanks!

Hi NiaMaggie, great question with the new release. Below I will refer to the new model is the Enduro and the older as the Pro 5. Summary: If the price tag isn't holding you back, go with the Enduro, it is a slightly better watch as it only adds features to the Pro 5 without losing them. However, based on the price today on Mobvoi's website (Pro 5 $228 | Enduro $350), I'm hesitant to say the price is worth the Enduro. For everyday functionality, they are the same watch. Thoughts: Enduro does have a stronger screen than the Pro 5, hooray! Mobvoi boasts a 90-hour battery on their promo page but its the same size battery as the Pro 5, and Mobvoi DID NOT update the FAQ (under Buy Now) on their website to include the 90-hours lasting power for the Enduro, leaving it at an 80-hour promise. *What is really enticing about the Enduro is the ability to customize the side button. The Pro 5 side button only opens the wallet, but Enduro can do more than that.* Verdict: Is the stronger screen and update in design worth the extra weight and price? Our vote is no, but your needs may compel you to say yes. Additional notes on updates: Enduro = only one color option (Obsidian, but its our favorite anyway); the bezel, crown, and band are fancier and even more masculine; more workout options might just be more confusing when you're in a hurry to start a workout; connections with 3rd party apps is great for users of those apps; both watches have IHB/AFib Detection (with 24-hour monitoring and real time HR on) but it is called out on the Enduro promo; slimmer watch is a perk.

Thank you for the thoughtful review/comparison. I'm also looking at these exact watches but focusing on a different aspect, just curious, can chargepoint app be installed on any of these by any chance? Thanks for putting this togerher!

Yes, we downloaded it on both the TicWatch and the OnePlus. I assume Galaxy would also be applicable. Thank you for your feedback!

@@delightmemonthly just want to give an update and closure to my own question. I ended up trying out both the Samsung (though, not the 6 but the 5 pro) and the OnePlus. Couldnt get chargepoint on the Samsung any normal way (the only way I got it on the watch was to side load, which has its own problem as the app UI doesn't work right). No issue with OnePlus as you have stated. Thank you again for your review!

I was once a big Fitbit fan, but when it was time to take my health and fitness tracking to the next level, I had to put away my Fitbit Sense for my Galaxy Watch 4.

Follow up note on the Smartwatches and switching phones: Wear OS 3.5 and earlier versions are not able to connect to a new phone without resetting the watch. This means the Ticwatch which runs on Wear OS 3.5 cannot connect to a new/different phone than the one originally linked to without restarting it. The Bluetooth settings will imply the watch is connected, but the app settings features will not be linked. But don't worry! To connect to a new device, sync the watch with the app on the current device, then restart the watch and connect it to the new device (you may need to turn off or go beyond the Bluetooth range of the old device in order to register it with the new one). Once you go through the set up process again and redo all your settings, give the app and watch time to sync (about an hour) and the watch will pick up where you left off before, syncing your steps and data for that day. For Wear OS 4.0: if you do not have your old device and are unable to access it, you will need to restart your watch and proceed in the same manner without regaining access to your old data -- unless it was saved in the app and you can log in to retrieve it. The watch likely will not sync for where you are in the day and you will start back at 0 steps etc., therefore you may want to do this restart in the early hours of your day. The Galaxy and OnePlus run on Wear OS 4.0+.
