Fabulous review of this Tablet I have had mine 3 months after 4 years with an iPad and already loved the Samsung s5e but was not using any where near its full capabilities and i have worked in I.T for 23 years ( Microsoft) Samsung android has really upped its game for a mid range tablet

Fantastic video. Best I've seen. Very informative. Sick and tired of seeing unboxings and hardware videos which don't show the actual usage of the tablet. Hey Frank, thank you and call and text feature was added only recently. Which Samsung phone do you have? I also have the old Galaxy S9+ and this feature was added a few months ago that too on Android 9.

@@brownsugar197041 I believe it only works on and with phones and tablets that are from 2018 or later and only if they're an S or Note Device. Not sure about that but it would make sense to me cuz that's why you're paying more for too.

I got one since a week now everything is OK,i do have some doubt about battery life ,but I'm on the heavy user side like downloading 20 movies plus connect on the tv via hdmi and external 2tb hard drive plus browsing web all at the same time haha. that (grib)sensor 49:35 on the second row to the right.. what is that connected with as it is getting triggered when touching around the device but not sure what and how?? as it is obvious not a device with native pressure sides, but these two sensors are still being active.. when nearing or touching certain parts of the tablet? and it doesnt seem to be the lightsensor?

@@TechGuyCharlie Yeah I seen a video that says you can use one as well. What I'd love to know is how you got the apps in pop up view. Mine only says split screen which I'm having problems with or haven't figure out yet. I go to split screen and it opens to maybe 1 10th of the screen and I can drag it but if I stop at any stage before half the screen it doesn't seem to stop there. It goes back to the start and just before I get to half screen it goes full screen. I can live with out the split screen but man I'd love to find out what I'd have to do to make the pop up view work.

Hmm we have an 4K 55" LG OLED 2017 when I plug the S5e to that with a 4K60 typeC to HDMI cable.. I can get a signal in two ways. One way is by DeX where it seems i can gte higher then 1080p as the 1440o option is greyed out in DeC setting. the other way is just a screen mirroring that though is way higher then 1080p.. extremely clear, though in tablets 16/10 ratio and I get the sound from TV. anyway to get higher then 1080p on DeX mode when connecting to a secondary screen??

It actually does, I have tried every app except TikTok! Every tablet has play to option, its called 'Smart Share' on this tab, that is Samsung's version of play to, which allows you to watch videos on a TV.

No, it has to do with the refresh rate of the oled panel in vertical mode it's a know problem with this type of panel technology at the moment.

I think you can download and install MobileVoip app and install on tablet and make a test phone call over WiFi internet. I use it on my smartphone for calls to far countries against a low minute price. No need to connect to a smartphone and use it as hub.

You don't need any antivirus programs as long as you don't go to shady websites or look for downloads that are too good to be true, I have never used an antivirus program on my tablet or PC, never got a virus.

Nope, it wont, you can use an aftermarket capacitive stylus, but the experience will be bad, because of no palm rejection or pressure sensitivity.

Capacitive styluses work with this tablet but from my experience, they are not accurate, there is no palm rejection and in general, they are bad, I'd rather use my fingers for writing or drawing! If you want stylus functionality, you should go with Galaxy Tab S6.
