I made this yesterday for my husband & I. I followed your directions precisely. I couldn't believe how good it was!! Better than the restaurants I've been to! Thank you so much Seongyoung Unnie :) I also couldn't believe how much the water evaporated over the course of 2 hours haha. I thought I was going to have more broth! Hahaha. Definitely recommend this to anyone! A tip I have for everyone is be sure to really wash the blanched meat well and to really get as much oil as you can possibly get out of it. I will post a instagram photo tagging you in it later today ^.^

OMGOODNESS Thank You!!! This was Delicious!!!! Sometimes beef dishes aren’t my favorite because they can be really heavy. The broth was light and flavorful, the beef was so tender and soft and the radish WAS DELICIOUS!! I ate mine with rice (not because I don’t like those noodles) but because RICE IS LIFE!! Lol

I love watching your video so much!! Many years ago, there is a H mart food court restaurant that makes a very delicious noodle soup but they are closed.... I was very sad and later I found out the Seonkyoung post a video that taste exactly the same as what I ate in the restaurant. I appreciate Seonkyoung so much because I can make that soup whenever I like to eat.

Don't know how I lived without this for so long! I make dog food for 2 of our dogs kzbin.infoUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg (we have 5!) and it is so much quicker in this. Love having the inner pot stainless so I can use my immersion blender right in it without worrying about scratching. It makes potatoes great and fast! Still working on the vegetables, first time came out great, second time I did different ones and they were a little too mushy. Just need to adjust the time. I highly recommend this pot!!!

Seonkyoung, your soups always look so fabulous. I swear I could live on soup. Do you know a good Sinigang recipe? I would be so so SO excited and grateful to see one from you! Xoxo
@bebang3188 жыл бұрын
Sinigang recipe: 1-1.5kg pork ribs, string beans, spinach, 2-3 Taro, 3 -4 pcs of green chili/pepper, 1 medium size onion, salt, crushed black peppercorn, raw tamarind , you can buy sinigang mix in any asian store for tamarind substitute. Cut the ribs about 1/12 inc or 2, wash, boil with water till tender,remove the dirt or whatever you call it inbetween( don't put too much water, just right above the ribs) or pressure cook up to 30mins, set aside the ribs then strain the soup to make it cleaner, put the meat back to pan with the soup, salt to taste, pinch of black pepper, 3 taro ( you can cut it half) then the string beans, give it 3 mins thenn add the sinigang mix, green chilli then finally the spinach Word of advise:::: put half a couple of table spponnif sinigang mix and add more to desired taste (tanginess or soury like)

Does it matter if the beef short ribs are cut thick? because the only kinds I can find in the chinese asian store are thinly sliced short ribs with the bone still attached...so pretty much the same thing but thin. Does that make a difference? Also, can I boil the broth on high and then put it in my thermal cooker to let it cook by itself?
@chinnjk8 жыл бұрын
You need the thick one because sort of like pho, you need the bones to create the broth's main flavor. Try checking out a korean market. It's expensive, just a heads up lol. Also, I cooked my soup the way she did it, but I think it honestly wouldn't be a problem if you did that with your thermal cooker. But since it's your first time, it will be hard for you to compare. I think it's best to do it the original way first, then try your own methods.
@derrickpitter83408 жыл бұрын
try to find a store that has the short ribs in slabs so they can cut it to the proper thickness.
